As D2R end-game does not exist I tried to define one for myself, this was: make my mercenary to kill alone Hell Chaos Sanctuary and Diablo himself, and, did it.
No runewords items on merc act2, no Fortitude and stuff like that, just 3 uniques items.
My Paladin just supported him with Auras(Concentration), not killed anything.
It took about 25 minutes(counting from entering CS till Diablo dead), but killing Diablo indeed took ~4-5 minutes. Merc not died, just once give him a renev potion.
so, what to do now? maybe try a Baal run with merc killing alone all stuff. there will be an annoyng mobs, like 2 wave before Baal, but we will see how will handle it.

Any player knows this. And this has been true since the dawn of time. Be it Diablo II or any other game, claims of great achievements are worth nothing without evidence. Anyone not doing it is just trolling.

Consider that your merc has failed. 50 chaos sanctuary runs a day is nothing. Lootwise, a guy who does NM baal runs will be tenfold more effective than you. Which means you don’t actually do endgame, which means that your statement in the first sentence is false. but which is the end-game then? I have not targeted finding items. for what to find more items when my merc killed Alone DIablo himself and Chaos Sanctuary. what to improve?

Is not me that playing, read again, my merc is playing. Actually, this game beats itself, because merc AI is done by the game, man, this is the end-game, when the game beats itself.

I for one am extremely impressed by this stunt. I have trouble just keeping my Merc alive in Hell against trash. Danutz, did you bug him out before doing this amazing run?
no bug. it has enough life steal(24%, 3 AMN on Weapon sockets), has a nice Gladiator bane armor Ethereal with 2168 defense, and this one has Cannot Be Frozen(important for melee), and Giant Skull helm with 10% Crushing Blow(this is needed otherwise he woul kill DIablo in 1 hour). So nothing special, like I said, no Fortitude
To keep it alive in Hell it needs to have Life Steal, and as many armor and resist as possible. With enough damage he would heal itself with LS, here is an adavantage for Paladin becasue with e.g. Concentration Aura it increase his damage a lot so has enough LS.
so using mercenary is booting? than anyone shall be banned
