When this game launched I used to stream the game with OBS with no issues.
Nowadays, even running the game alone without streaming causing my GPU/CPU fans to overrun and sound like Jet plane. When I try to stream the cpu fans start running at maximum speed and the PC crash.
What is going on? If anyone got tips I will appreciate.!
I had the same issue. My graphic card (1080ti) was always running on their limit.
Since i made a fps limit to 60fps ingame there are no issues anymore. Enjoy the silence.
I am using MSI AfterBurner tool to limit the GPU power at a lower value, Gtx 1060 6GB. the fps loss in 5% and GPU temp go in D2R from 80 degress to 65 degrees.
Software shouldnt be able to crash your pc under normal circumstances unless they do tasks directly bundled to the OS(Drivers). Are you sure youre not overclocking your hardware?
for some reasons this game stress the GPU more than Cyberpunk 2077.

read the posts above before making “smart” comments. Me personally I even downclock the GPU to solve the issue.
Right. So i have a GTX 970 4gb, 16DDR3 ram and an i5-4460 CPU and i have no problems running OBS while at high settings. Nothing is clocked either here or there.
Heck i dont even have the so called “lag” the so called “PRO’s” keep referring to. and i only got a 30/30 fiber connection.
I see lots of claims here and i just dont believe people have either the hardware they claim to have, nor the “knowhow” with PC’s in general.
