Im feeling this game its more fair do play solo, unless you trust people.
Shared loot is hurting me, melle steals runes and loot so much faster.
Personal loot with the option to free trade, why this isnt on the game yet?

A lot of people object to PLoot because they (mistakenly imo) believe it will increase the amount of loot entering the system and thus would destroy the trade market.

At the same time plenty of these same people happily ask for the players 8 command to be implemented online which would have a far greater impact on trade prices than PLoot ever could.

You canā€™t win basically. I doubt either will ever happen when there is this level of objection, all to protect the secondary market prices.

either ploot and p8 would have far reaching consequences. but i hope they will implement both along with some balancing changes. ploot would lead to a very satisfiable baalrunning experience and mfing in a group would be really enjoyable.

For someā€¦thatā€™s the beauty of the gameā€¦the constant stress of checking if some guy will tp into Chaos in a 7+ game just when you are popping the last seal and take your drops. It makes you play faster and more efficient. Indeed there are leachers and ā€˜ninjasā€™, but if you know where and how to farm fast itā€™s doable.
As an exampleā€¦if I enter a 7 people cow server, running for letā€™s say 3mins, I first check where is everybody farming and what areas are free. If letā€™s say CS is not being farmedā€¦thatā€™s where I will hit first(average Chaos run takes me and my merc approx 2-4mins)ā€¦otherwise relocate to Trav/Meph/Arcane Sanctuary/Ancient Tunnels/Andy etc(i use blizz sorc). Usually people will let you finish an area and just relocate to a free one, but not always. I do this because I find it inefficient to farm in the same area as another player. Of course there are hyenas whoā€™s only purpose is to try to grab something from other players. Only part of the experience. This is a game from a different era, when games used to be more unforgiven and ā€˜unfairā€™ to some players.

I think personal loot would be hilarious. Itā€™d take a giant dump on the people running pickit.

it is not ā€œthe marketā€ i wanna protect but the spirit of the game, dont give 2 nickels about the ā€œmarketā€, but this game was made in the wild west of gaming and /p8 is already present in it. so fine do p8 in bnet but donā€™t corrupt it with modern crap like ploot, grifts, endless power creepā€¦ where do we stop? microtransactions? pay for hr? pay to have better chances at a perfect hr roll? no no freggin way, minor stuff that do not change the essence of the game is accepted but ploot or other modern trash concepts like that are crossing the line.

But only if other players canā€™t join your p8 game. They should allow this option(if they will implement it) only for online solo farming exclusevely. just my 2cents.
