For those who say that D2R is better than D3…
An unplayable game that loads forever is better than a playable game that loads up in a minute or two! Lol!!!
The is no comparison possible, D3 is 1000x better than D2/D2R.

D2 not only is better, it’s a real Diablo game, D3 is a joke, you can go with your pets like a pink pony and more garbage, and fully Disney colors, thts WoW not Diablo, Diablo games there are only 2, D1 and D2.

yes, but in D2/D2R you ARE the pink pony :))) because D2/D2R is soooooo easy and has NO end-game so every time when you fight mobs you have the impression that you walking in the park. just try Grift 150 in D3, you will feel the real DIABLO power!!!

For him 3 times 10 equals 30 is a much easier math problem than 3 times 100 equals 300 and that’s basically the D3 GRift experience in a nutshell.

then why you are not able to do Grifts 140+ when you are able to one-shot-kill Hell difficulty in D2R?
Scaling numbers and grinding paragon levels is not hard. It’s just wasting more time. D3 has unlimited power levels. 1000 paragon level adds 5000 mainstats. And stacking monsters and aligning damage multipliers to burst them down is also no science. Its simply boring to fish for the perfect grift to get an easy one where you hit the correct density and monster types. If you completed a 150 you would know that
Long story short D3 is as exciting as a math lesson on proportionality
I am considering to give up D2R since I am fed up with the lack of high runes and high tc items drops in level 85 zones or terror zones levels above. (never saw a sunder charm for instance)
I farmed days and hours with 300+MF and didn’t get any items to improve my chars ; always useless items or low runes : this is way too frustrating.
40+ trades are not even enough.
My plan was to play D2R till D4 realeases in addition to D3 last seasons but I am about to give up D2R.
If it’s so easy then why are you not the WR holder on speedruns? I bet you can beat the current WRs with one hand tied to your back and while watching the newest zoomer trends on instagram?
On another note, you can’t really sell me on the concept of an isometric hack’n slash clicker being ‘hard’ by definition, without player-made challenges like speedruns or restriction of certain things. So no D3 is not hard as well, most likely. (I never played it and never will spend a single penny for it)
To appreciate D2 you need a completely different mindset. If you are looking for the ideal equipment and the optimum performance, it takes luck, a lot of time and trading, in which case I think D3 is more suited to this way of playing.
At D2 the ideal equipment makes the game quite easy, my favorite way is to do the best I can by playing in self drop. This way D2 takes all its flavor. The slightest exceptional drop becomes an enchantment and the difficulty of the game is real. Morality you have to choose the game according to the type of player you are and everyone can find their interest.

D3 isn’t hard, it’s just tedious with legendaries dropping like crazy, most are crap. Race to 70. Race paragon. Farm greater rifts until you have found the good stuff, go higher in riftlevel. Since repeat until you hit another wall. My wife made to to 136 and got sick of doing the same thing over and over. But that’s hack and slash for you. Some may love d3 but I don’t and it has nothing to with skill being needed (because that’s what danutz will claim)
D3 has at least GreaterRift where you can find the challenge. In D2 after you gear up a bit you can smash Hell without problems.
Wait to see D:Immortal, is 1000x easier than D2R and D3, has no end-game(besdies if you spent 2000$+ to smash everything in PvP). After Immortal I have big daubs about what D4 will be.

Sure, d3 ist good but d2 has better graphics, when i See d3, its so shiny, colorful, bright, blur, Bloom so you cannot see the real Fight. Overload Skill Effects Like a asian Game.

you can turn on windows color filter to black&white so no more colors in D3.
