When you die? Like what?
ya if u die u lose xp and gold
You lose a part of your xp and gold on your character.
But you donāt loose money you have stored in your chest.
you do lose gold you have on your personal tab of the chest but not the shared tabs but maybe thatās what you meant.
I swear to god I lose money from chest. Because I have 0 gold on me. And it says I lost xxxxxxxxxx amount of gold as death toll
You lose gold from your personal stash tab. Store your gold in the shared tab.
Well, you just have to die, then you see what happens.
So i have killed a character and i lost 11% of my gold on my character.
I didnāt lost any gold in my personal stash, and i didnāt lost any gold in my shared stashes.
Iām guessing thatās because you had that 11% you lose on you, if you had 0 on the character it would take it from the personal tab.
So, again my poor barbarian ran out into the wildeness and was slain by the monstrosities out there. This time without any gold.
I lost no gold on my personal stash and no gold on my shared stashes.
This counts only for offline mode, i donāt know how it works online.
Yes. If you die, you lose a percentage of the gold stored in your characters stash. You do not lose the gold in the shared stashes though.
So, online you loose a part of your gold from your personal stash?
Another good reason to play offline. ^^
i am surprised only you understood what I meant. I thought I speak clear English.
There is no reason to play offline. Offline is good enough for a single run through normal difficulty.
@springmaus yeah that is kinda annoying, so you either have to constantly swap gold in and out or suffer loss
- Looks down the queue threads in the forum * Well, i think there is a good reason for playing offline!
To be honest, i donāt like to play with other people, iām a happy single player.
You never had shared stash in the original game so it would always take out gold that you didnāt have on you from your personal chest.
I have died loads of times and just from levelling characters alone I have 2Mil gold, but yeah I bet all the āpuristsā keep all their money in their personal stash so that the game can rip it from them
from wiki
If you are killed, your character will lose a percentage of the total gold both carried and stored in the Stash. This percentage is equal to your characterās level but will not exceed 20%. After this ādeath penaltyā is deducted, the remaining gold your character was carrying falls to the ground in a pile. If the penalty exceeds the amount of gold you were carrying, the remainder of the penalty is deducted from your Stash.
In Single-Player, dying will not deplete your entire gold supply. No gold is lost from your Stash, and 500 gold per character level is exempt from the death penalty. For example, if a 10th level Single-Player character with 5,000 gold dies, he will lose no gold.
