and we’re all still gonna buy it like dopamine junkies. tbh tho, D4 nor PoE 2 look interesting to me from what ive seen so far. they both look too similar to their predecessors which is the worst kind of thing for a grind based ARPG

How can you say its for kids when this game has no complexity and variety. After 1 month you know it inside out and there is nothing new or future updates.
once new poe season starts, its time to move on.
I will buy it when its stable and obviously this is 10 years after that as it seems.
One thing you are right “there is nothing new.” besides the server-down-each-day-thing.

Dude there is nothing to do in poe, just run maps all the time, it wont be different in poe 2, atleast in diablo u can do baalruns, chaos runs, ubers, pvp, keeps it way longer fun
yes, i also believe that diablo 4 will be the breaking point of the diablo series… unfortunately. just knowing that there will be microtransactions pisses me off, no matter if cosmetic or not - it’s about the principle that such approaches are my ass. in the past, games came out and worked without any microtransactions.
activision has destroyed blizzard and soon blizzard will only be like EA because the only thing that keeps blizzard still in the market are the old titles because they hardly get new baked - especially now that many passionate developers have gone.
sad. but i personally think the d2r team is nice, sure it doesn’t run smoothly and there are many problems but the love is in the detail and you can say what you want but the team behind d2r loves diablo 2 and i would like to see much more of it. i think the problem that it’s not quite finished or the server strictness is not on the team itself but again at activision who probably made pressure with the release - developers themselves would never release something unfinished and therefore they are not to blame.
I would prefer blizzard would let the d2r team just do their thing without financial problems or pressure. or the old developers who are gone give / sell the brand “Diablo” so that they can make something completely great with the new d2r team instead of a cash cow without depth.
i hope there is a similar ARPG coming soon that is just like diablo but won’t/may not be called diablo in the end.
POE I do not really find as a comparison because I do not like this game despite horny elements and a lot of good at all - graphically snot and it generally does not appeal to me. but I will give POE2 a new chance only intressiert me there the story is not and I just play stupidly on it and exactly there I find such an ARPG like diablo ingenious. good story and good gameplay (NO diablo 3 I do not count because with diablo 3 went the diablo series in terms of story completely missed).
in the project updates to diablo 4 there are already some things that I do not like at all and do not fit to diablo and there are also such details like the corpses and blood disappear immediately after defeat or items like vases, etc… - i HATE that! and that’s why i loved it even more in diablo 2 where you saw the shit of the devastation and the bodies piled up. i’m aware that some developers want to spare themselves that because of the load of the pc’s but then please god damn make it optionally available to enable it.
i still don’t understand why some things just aren’t made optional just like in diablo 2 personal loot, everyone can decide when creating the game if they want personal loot or not etc.
for those who are against it should then just not press this fucking button to activate and be happy in their game instead of here in the forum constantly go after the others who want to have more changes.
the community is also to blame for the games are as they are.

true, on level of complexity D3 is the one thats for kids, followed by D2, and lastly PoE lol
lmao, are you trolling? There is delve, atzoatl, 150 different maps + 30 unique, heist, and like 10 endgame bosses which actually need a decent amount of farming to get to them. Not talking about all those events you can encounter. Also there are at least 10 times more builds to make, a much more in depth crafting and there is an official trade site.
I am not saying D2 is bad but saying there is nothing to do in poe is just wrong and stupid.

D3 has literally no views. Its been dead game for over year now. Thats your product when blizzard makes new game = TOTAL GARBAGE.
D2 is 20 years old game and 10x better than dead toilet game D3.
Thats why PoEhas been king of arpgs for so long because devs are fan of d2 and built similar features on top of it.

I literally don’t care about D3 views, but I do like what I’ve seen for D4. PoE is “meh” for me but if it works better for you - fave fun. Making such flame topics makes no sense whatsoever.
I can see why you like D3 and D4, it fits perfectly for players who dont appreciate complexity and play brainless casual games which look pretty but dead inside.
Literally nobody plays D3 anymore. That is your toilet product and same devs are behind D4.

Poe is shit because GGG only destroys builds after builds after builds and it drop mostly shit.

In d2 you can be excited for shinny loot and fun builds to make.
In poe if you find a broken item or fun mechanic it will be destroyed next patch.
Poe is now a chore only for sadomasochistics no lifer.
