Hi all, did you guys encounter any drop rate changed recently? i used to hunt Andy and Mephis, they usually at least drop an unique item but after i created 2nd character, out of my 10 mf round maybe just only get 2 times unique item.
i also heard that if the bosses drop gold after you killed them meaning to say the chances of dropping unique item will be lesser.
I am very sure before my 2nd character completed hell, my mage with around 300+ mf drop at least one unique item and don’t drop gold after i have killed them
Do advise if you guys have the same issue 
First time kill is always quest drop which means no whites and trash, if you play the game in a regular way you only get it once. thats why you got a better drop. After that they drop from their regular loottables. I got 2 harle and 1 jalal of NM baal today so I doubt they changed any values
Farming can be hit or mess. Got my second Viper Magi off of Meph earlier and yesterday he dropped a Lidless and HoZ in one go. You just have to get lucky is all.
Droprates didnt change at all.
How much MF do you have? I have over 350 if my merc gets the killing blow and I’m having no luck. 62 kills between meph, Andy and Diablo. 1 unique. It was a tgods so at least it was worth something but……
RNG has always been like this in Diablo2, you can sometimes run 100 runs without finding anything interesting. I run with 300-400 magicgind and find stuff all the time, usually stuff not worth mentioning but I have found some good stuff. The only boss I do not enjoy farming is Andariel because she has never given me anything good.
Today I may find an Arachnid Mesh, tomorrow a Shako, or never…
Funny how players create these posts about possible changes in the game’s drop rates.
Trust me, D2 is exact the same as it always has been, and I’m glad for it because it keeps calling me back to play some more.
That’s what i’m saying though. I didn’t get 10 uniques but 9 were garbage. I got 1. Just 1.
Yeah my merc has insight and stealskull so he gives another 100 MF. I’m right at 260 ish on my sorc.

Andariel’s drop rate is now the same with a quest and without a quest, so now the Andariel bug is useless.

If you get rushed, you’ll get loot distribution passed on to the rushing player who gets the kills. Get the kill and everything will be ok.

Drop rates are fine. I think the gold drop was a sign of non bugged Andy.
As for Andy, some time ago (~2 weeks after launch) I was not lazy enough to capture my drops with some basic MF (266)… the last drop was just epic… and as you can see drops are rubbish… and they are the same now.

Yeah. Drop rates are fine. I’ve been working on TreasureClassEx.txt for a mod and I can confirm (if you care what I say) everything is where it is supposed to be. They even carried into Resurrected the Frozenstein and Snapchip Shatter bug introduced when they tried to nerf Nihlathak drops.
