Drop rate PC vs PS5

Hello, I play the game since the release on PS5, Id start Javazon then Hammerdine and start a fresh MF Sorceress last week. I’m now lvl 85 with my Sorceress and clear act 5 (solo) yesterday. So, after all this accomplisment, I start to do Meph run in Hell with my sorceress. I was playing on PS5, and my sorceress have 430MF. After something like 50 run or soo and not single drop who worth something, I decide to log ON PC… Heeee what is this… Multiple Unique drop + set item. Does I’m the only one who notice then PSN and probably XBOX game is totaly broken??

It seems that for all platforms the loot is bugged. Some players are saying that for they uniques rain from white mobs, and other players find 0 loot. It seems that MF does not matter, even with 400MF you might find 0 loot.
Do not know, maybe Blizzard have BlackLists with players(those who write bad posts on forums and criticize them) and for those 0 loot drop.

I like this game soo much, never complaint, but it’s sooo weird to notice this difference in drop rate when you play on console.

Yeah right. MF increases drop chance by some factor right. Chance for some item might be 1:1000 so obviously 10:1000 totally sounds like a guaranteed drop so if i dont find anything worthy the game mechanic is obviously completely broken. Totally logic argument.

Oh and dont forget all those people who killed diablo 10000 times and did not see a single unique … theres proof for this … i saw it on youtube … broken … screams in pain

MF doesn’t increase the loot you find, it increases the chance that the loot that does drop spawns as a Unique, Set, Rare or Magic, with Magic gaining the largest boost. MF also pretty much drops off entirely after 400% when it comes to Unique items. If you want increased loot drops you need to play in higher player count games (3, 5, 7 players with the largest increase at 3 players).

And I don’t think the loot is bugged at all, it’s just random. You have to play Diablo an absolute tonne to get any meaningful idea on loot drops, and it seems fairly consistent with how it used to be, you could play for 3 days and get nothing and then you get 2 High Runes and some top level uniques in the space of 2 hours.

I’ve already had more high runes in D2R than I had in the entirety of playing D2 vanilla since 2001, and that is just 3 high runes total by the way.

It seems that a lot of players don’t understand the concept of probability and statistics.

With such low drop chances, you’d have to run millions , if not billions of games to be able to draw -scientific- conclusions about any loot difference between the two platforms.

If I find 20 bucks on the sidewalk on monday, I don’t say it’s weird not to find anything on tuesday. That’s what you’re essentially doing.

I want to belieive (and I will for the sake of my sanity) that this drop rates topics are created by trolls, mostly.
I do not believe that people can be THAT stupid to skip 20 years of D2 material on the Internet and write this BS.

it is just random could drop on ps5 as well

This Game called D2R = you need Luck an Time - NOT - D3 = All for Nothing!

So if you not OK with your Droprate, play D3 or Others :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
RNG on D2R its hard!

Yes guys. I did lot of Cows runs(in Hell) with 300MF. Before I run at 200MF, but now with 300MF indeed made the difference. Now I found lot of Simon’set items and a unique Broad Sword 12-24 damage, with knockback on it!!! before with 200MF and just found rares Broad Swords with 7-14 damage. So yes, MF made the difference.

Your retardness is impressing me.

Just a few hours ago he promised to leave this forum for good (claiming that the game he has already quit). :man_facepalming:
Like someone said above, I have hope that this is just trallingus vulgaris. :man_shrugging:

Indeed indeed

Forgot that I need more characters to type, not enough only emoji.

Gather the drop statistics of 10000 meph runs on pc and 10000 meph runs on console and then you have something to compare.
