Hey bois, i think something happend to drops rates becouse i made 50 runs for KEYS, and i got keys only from nikhaltak, i think thaaat’s not ok, making a lot of key runs before, seeing this for the first time…

You will not be happy. Sometimes you will not get a key 100runs and than one guy will go and get 3 keys in one run.
My friend got it. I got several times 2 keys in one run. It is really wierd rng. I know how do you feel.

i always took a set of keys in 40-50 runs, but this time is so crazy…
I made a topic myself about it… but i only got bashed for it… something isnt working right… Played for 5 hrs with my 500MF sorc doing Andy-Meph-Pindle… got 90%+ yellow or under, and maybe some cathan, angelic, sigon, ceglaw… and some trash unique… nothing worth even close to lets say an UM rune…

the worst thing, that you are doing these runs and finally get keys and you will get 10/10 dudu torch from ubers with worth maybe um or pul, if you find somebody who needs it…
I am not talking about normal Hell runs. Even occy or shaco has not a big value these days.
If they will not increase drops , D2R will be ghost town.

did 200+ Countess runs with 0 keys. drops are bugged. alk together, items, keys, essences are bugged.
p.s. do not listen to the dinosaurs here that will tell you that is random and need to farm 20 years to be sure

I collected keys for maybe 10 uber runs. I spend on this a lot of hours to get sorc torch :D.
You can really get 2 or 3 keys on one run. I also don´t like it. It is not math…it is stupid and should be fixed

Dude, the drops are really bugged, it’s not normal… i always make ubers and this time is the HARDEST TIME OF ALL TIME! THE KEYS STILL DIDN"T DROP!!! JUST NIKHILTAK IS GIVING ME KEY WTF
Yes i take all keydroper in every run. i have not received a key for a while now…
Sadly, that’s RNG for ya. I personally am sick of getting keys from doing hell countess runs. I’m only after runes higher that a Ko rune and all I have gotten is keys and that blue dust. The sad reality is that it is all random drops that can take a player 100 runs to achieve what they’re after or just 1.
Patience is needed when farming and it can feel like an episode of Lost at times where you get angry and want to give up.

It’s not just you. I’ve been running keys for the past week, and it’s been pretty consistent about 1 in 12 runs for each type. As of yesterday, i’m only getting Keys of Hate at that rate (found 11), i have yet to get a single Key of Terror, and i’ve only found one Key of Destruction - this is after about 120 runs.
Must be bugged, I did 3 runs to andariel and got not even one shako - totally broken this game ^^

Well genius, we’re suggesting something with (EDIT) <0.1% likelihood (chance of not getting a single key in 100+ runs, and I’m playing at P3, mind you) happening to a lot of people might suggest there’s an issue with the random number generator. This isn’t a subjective matter of “good drops”, this is something with an established probability and a highly unlikely probability of it not occurring a single time within a set number of trials. Brush up on statistics, maybe?

Your likelihood 2% a bit strange. Chance to key drop in single player game is 1/15. Chance that key doesnt drop is 14/15. Chance that key doesnt drop after 100 runs is (14/15)^100 = 0,001 = 0.1%
0.1% still means that roughly one out of 1000 will see no key after 100 runs.
Percentage wise it sounds like it shouldnt happen to yourself but factoring in the overall number of people who play this game you will find quite a lot who think the game must be broken even though its not.
I found a lot of keys from countness, very few from summoner and just one from nihalatak so far. Reading through those threads there are a lot who experienced otherwise but overall everything seems to be in line so far.
Would be nice to have some data across a few thousands players but i guess blizzard wont share this information, if they could track that at all.
Got 1 key and 3 essences in one game just recently go farm all while drop is fixed!
I’ve done about 50 runs without a key too, it’s RNG and it’s also really unlucky. About a week ago a friend was telling me he’s had nothing of real value since he started playing, and almost nothing for weeks after abandoning his Sorc and moving to an IK Whirlwind Barb using all his wealth to pay for the set.
Then about 3 days ago he got Sur drop, then he gambled an SOJ. And since then he’s had another Sur, Cham, 2x Ber and Jah. He’s played a lot (grinding his barb up to 91 just farming) but you can see he increased his wealth by like 1000x in the space of 3 days out of pure sheer freak luck. RNG is RNG, he got more high runes in 3 days than I’ve had in my life (which is 4, in 20 years).
