Classic excuse of blaming legacy code and how the old game creation works. You clearly introduced changes into that system since launch. One of the major red flags almost instantly for me when doing mf runs etc… is I can do sometimes 20 runs and my game from the first run is still up and joinable. This never happened in D2 LOD if I was lucky I could switch chars and join a game before it disappeared. Maybe your databases wouldn’t be so massive if you expired games faster after there is no player in them… This login queue is way to slow and will drive more players from the game all together, but maybe that is what you want so you don’t have to overhaul systems. Everyone knew this game wasn’t ready for release after the closed and open beta, but that is besides the point now. This is probably your only game with a growing player base so you would think you would think it would be all hands on deck (I know your release on this issue says it is, but it sure doesn’t seem like it). Such a shame to see a beautiful game be bogged down like this.
