please let us play the game, I have characters in online and would like to play them, but everyone knows that nowadays it is impossible.
please let us export characters to offline and we will never come back to online

This option should be added to game asap. I made all my toons online because i didnt foresee all these server problems and now i spent half of the time i would like to play, in a que.
We need a character transfer from online to offline or very least some way to copy online toon for offline. This move should be one way from online to offline to prevent any cheating shenanigans.

Just use google: There is a website and program called ‘Hero Creator’ - so you can ‘create’ a savefile/character with all the items you want, or your ‘online’ char has.
copy it to your d2/savefiles and have fun.

You kind of killed fun of the regular game with that lol what’s the point of using editor and playing? Ok, for build testing it’s fine, but at the end of the day you bought game to not play it lol
On the other hand if you make exact character from online you have - that’s the deal there. Just be fair

He wants HIS CURRENT Toon to be offline - Not possible.
He has to start from scratch with a new Toon offline OR He uses the ‘Hero Creator’ and just makes a 1:1 copy of his current gear,level and Toon he has ‘online’?!
I don’t even understand how people play Diablo 2 offline.
Its fun for like 20-30 MAYBE 40-50 hours if you play every Act, Quest and do some ‘level runs’ on your own.
How long you gonna farm for certain items without any option to trade stuff you don’t need but is worth a lot? lol
Just give your char perfect gear with hero creator and play for a few hours - nothing else to do.
Offline farming is the biggest waste of time. lmao
