Lets start about the ladder. I still see que´s in the game wich is a main reason to delay ladder release. The game is not ready for it yet.
I think ladder is first an option when theres no que times in the game. So all can start at the same time.
And the game runs kinda bad online. Its like small delay between your actions and visual.
Like if you hit a skill there goes a second before the character actual do it. I have 50/50 mb fiber Internet, so shouldnt be an issue with my internet and i use cable. with these two factors I dont think ladder is an option yet.
2.4 feedback:
Its great some skills have been tweaked. But many of the changes I won´t ever experiense. Like fire damage skills. Fire damage is the worst damage type in the game with all the immunities. I dont want to play a build i only can play up to nightmare anyway.
The druid pets are underperforming even when all pets up at once, There AI need to be improved, so they dont split up and run all over the screen all the time. Its a struggle to play, first because they attack in all directions, and their damage is almost not existing in hell. All in all druid pet build is still not worth the time i think.
New high level zones is great if just classes and builds could do them. All the immunes in the game sort of makes most of these zones not playable anyway. Only Summon necro can clear all zones in the game. I would love if we were able to do more zones with each class but thats not an option.
If I should decide i would remove the total immunes from the entire game. Dont remove immunes as a hole but lower it so all classes can play all zones. It would be slower to kill the immunes, but not impossible. That would open up so many build options, and would make the game much more fun. I only play like max 3 different builds in the game because of the immunes. I find it waste of time doing any other build.
There are so many fun looking builds i just dont wanna do because it can only farm like 2 max level zones. And then Infinity should be removed because its almost impossible to make this weapon to begin with. I have never got the runes to even make it. Thats also a reason i dont play more builds. I mean if immunes were lowered to be killable the infinity should be removed, only if that happend.
I really hope that Diablo 4 will not suffer the same with a lot not playable content like in Diablo 2. I think we have tryed that now and its time to move on.
But lastly I enjoy the boost to skeleton mages wich is really great. And the few high level zones i have tryed is also great.
The paladin aura changes is also great but not game breaking. I dont see a huge differense than what it was before anyway. I cant comment on the assasin changes since its a class that cant do much farming zones so not even gonna try it tbh, same goes for Amazon.
This is not ment to be a hate against the game. Its just how i feel about it and play around it the best I can. I just miss a lot content i could have played if the game was made different. But happy to see some changes to the game after all.
It still dosnt change that there AI sucks, maybe they are better in close places. Maybe its because i usual play necro i think they dont do anything. They are in the very low end damage wise.
The pit is also one of the easyer places to farm.

Den CE Necro habe ich seit dem Patch nicht ausprobiert. Beim Dragondin machen sich die Synergieänderunen für das Holy Fire sehr bemerkbar.
Der Eifer-Schaden ist von 4k auf 8k gestiegen. Mit dem Build ist es nun möglich jedes Gebiet in einem 8 Player Game zu clearen.
Das Problem ist nur: Es gibt nur 3 minütige Baalruns in denen sich 8 Spieler befinden. Bitte führt auch für Multiplayer Games den Befehl /players x ein.
Die Wegfindung von dem Begleiter ist weiterhin schlecht. Er ist oftmals nicht in der Lage den Weg zum Feind oder zu mir zu finden. In Gebieten wie Tombs, Kloster, Meph WP ist es besonders schlimm.
well the issue is that to make a aura din you need a rediculess amount of gear. i agree with OP, that immunitys should be changed to high res, i did a FOTH playthru and the damage was utterly shit, even with maxed FOTH, conviction+ synergy the hits just tickled immunes that had been broken since they still had 95% res or so. 100% agree about immunitys is simply just a bad 20 year old game design that easy could be changed to make the game 10000% better. im trying the summonor druid now, and its a horrible experince. if their AO was changed it could be ok. i played alot of minion builds in Path of exile, and after the big minion rewamp, you can play minions at very top tier clear speed. zooming at max speed, while minions destroy anything you pass. just to point out that minion AI is 100% determin how thoes kind of builds works( pre minion patch they where horrible). furthermore what limits this game alot is the total lack of splash damage to skills, alot of skills would improve if they added % of the main hit to nearby enemys.
I have actually noticed this as well, visuals are delayed or not shown fully they just stop in the middle of the animation (war cry or battle orders when used)
When it comes to immunity of the monsters to different elements I have to disagree as this is exactly what makes this game different compare to any other game out there. If anyone has a problem to farm different areas hammerdin build is just exactly for that. Or there is another solution stop trying to build one type of elemental dmg. The best solution is to have 3 types of dmg and you will be sorted. I play lightning sorc with combination of blizzard and my follower does physical dmg and can farm anything (once follower is properly build up with good enough gear) once you get reaper’s tool you are easy to do all the physical immune monsters as well and I have seen it drop quite a lot. I understand people like to trash everything with one skill on one hit as that’s how most of the games are made these days. Take a D3 for example gameplay is really great but after 2 weeks in season you have all the necessary gear that allows you to do all the content apart from maybe the highest Greater Rifts. This makes D3 for me boring as all of the sudden all the challenge is gone. D2 is not about trashing everything in 2 week after season/ladder starts and that’s why I like this game even though it was released 20 years ago. This game is also trying to be true to it’s original and I like what I have seen so far.
There are few suggestions from me as well. I would like to see a bigger stash space and the gems and runes could be stackable and if it would be possible to see cooldowns of active spells something like in D3 when you have activated freezing armor for example you could see a timer, above your skill bar, how long till it runs out. This would be very helpful so we don’t have to click all the spell like mad so often only when it is required for certain spell to be reactivated.
BTW never have made Infinity my self as I never got runes for it (I actually did in D2R but didn’t have hopes to wait for the second Ber rune and made Chains of Honour with the first one) and in season it is close to impossible to get runs unless you had bots to farm them in original version. But it is doable with a team effort and this is what this game is all about. I have been playing for a month and already have seen to drop 2 Ber runes and Jah Ohm Vex Ist Mal Sur… only runes I haven’t seen to drop yet are Zod Cham and LO and it seems it drops better when playing in a team with mates so. I might have been just lucky but I have been playing alot as well lol as that is what it takes to get them high runes and it feels rewarding otherwise everyone would be running around with infinity and that would make this game boring as most of the games out there. Trashing everything with one hit no challange at all.

there is a balance issue from what you talk of and the general problem. there are many builds that is not very plesant to take thru the game, once immunitys starts ramping up. and having to spend points into different skills will make all your damage pointless. in my oppinion. most builds should be able to clear the game from start to finish hell. in a decent manner.
and you dont wanna TP thrue hell difficultys mob packs on a solo hc sorc.
This is how speed and animation works. (You have an animation length and an animation point when the action take place at a specific frame in the animation )
you have to move your arm before striking with a sword, this is the same idea here
Yes I do understand how it works and I am familiar with the break points as well. But for some reason even if I cast/press button once to cast certain spell the animation is interrupted for no reason (as no one is around me trying to hit me and there is no real reason why the animation should be interrupted) which doesn’t make any sense. There is even delay in using waypoint. Your character is already on the location way before your loading screen disappears and I remember LlamaSC mentioned this in beta testing ages ago and nothing has changed about it since.
I understand your points and reasoning I guess the game is not meant to for certain builds only after you do certain rune words to make those build viable I know it’s silly and I know that I am lacking on dmg on my lightning as i have to sacrifice for blizzard. But once I have infinity I can re-skill. Or simply the game is not made for solo game. You should play in party and everyone in the party should focus on different type of elemental dmg to compliment each other in different areas. I know that it sux for solo play game, that’s just the way the game is, but getting rid of immunity would ruined this game. I would rather made other runewords more obtainable for example Doom as that one one would really help any cold dmg build but the runes required for the weapon are too far from reality to be obtained within one ladder window. And probably still wouldn’t be enough for cold immune to loose their immunity. Maybe lowering the immunity monster’s resistance stats would suffice and once using certain weapons/runewords would made it possible to make them loose it or they could introduce some new epic/legendary items to the game to make this possible. But getting rid of a core/base on what the game stands on wouldn’t be a good idea in my opinion.
But again this dosnt happen offline, so it is still a problem caused by playing online, and have nothing to do about how it works. I never see this in offline play at all.
I try play online but exact issue is why I always turn back to play offline. And as long as this is an issue online, ill stick to offline and not play ladder.
Anim length, Delay, Action frame and FastCast are the same online and offline for a majority of player.
What you describe is lag, you should open a case in Technical support.
