So after a angry refund, i purchased this game again after a few days because i love diablo2.
But why in the hell does this game crash every few minutes ?! I cant play FFS. I cant play the game i purchased and i tried every solution mentioned here.

Why is Blizzard not uable to release a working game. At least make it playable after nearly a week ??? Im so angry right now. I also Scan and repair this game every day.
Even Indi Studios are releasing working games …
I will refund it again and will never touch it again and will never purchase any other blizzard game if this does not stop or there is a working solution…

It might be related to some conexion issues, microdesconnections make some games crash, i had that problem in csgo years ago, try to check tha. I wont mention your dd cz with that setup i suppose you have the game installed in a ssd.
maybe better explain problems first? what happens etc, how far into the game you come, try with and without antivirus on, try run as administrator. and so on.

I had this weird issue with blizzard games years ago and reducing my GPU to Standard spec clocks worked for me. Don’t know if this problem is still there for some people.

Yes, Oc Card from EVGA. I dont run my oc profile with D2:R. MSI Afterburner is not on.
I mean factory oc, look up your base click speed and hard set it. It helped me so many times
oc will try debug mode, so no oc

Have the same issue, my nephew and my friend also. This isnt related to our PCs, its a game issue. I dont have such problems in other games …
It just randomly crashes even when you sometimes idle in the chat.

Iam asking because I had alot of crahses when I tryd to play with a Gamepad too. Then I realised it was because my “use” button was the same as an skill I can use in town (It was a aura). After I changed that the crahses was gone.

IF you have the issue of crashing every 30m-3hr, this is not something unique to you but rather extremely common and mostly just ignored.
IF you have that problem and still decided to refund the game and keep spamming the forum, you really have no respect from me for posting this in general forums.
Now if your problem is far worse than for the average person, I understand your frustration, otherwise - It doesn’t really matter does it? A crash or so every hour? just restart and rejoin and wait until they fix it.
Tyiriel, you are not helping either. However, there are many issues which don’t allow most of the players to play a 40€ game from a AAA company, well if we can still call blizzard entertainment AAA anymore since indie devs are doing better for the last 5 years by now.
Call me Crazy, but yesterday evening you wouldn’t see more than 20 games in hell… definitely something is wrong and it shouldn’t be the player’s duty to come at the forum and try to fix the issue by following "useless list of troubleshooting. I repeat don’t let them make you thin than this is happening to some individuals and don’t plat their game of following stupid guidance than requires more than user IT senses.
In my case I can’t play the game for the simple fact that their launcher is Cap for some reason so you are not allowed to dl and install the game since they randomly block players to avoid extress in their unplayable Servers.
PLEASE I TRIED TO REFUND MY MONEY AND THIS COMPANY DIDN’T ALLOWED ME, AT LEAST FIX YOUR GAME.

Your problem is definitely not based around them blocking random players from downloading the game. That’s illegal and would’ve been spotted quite easily, quickly turning into an easy lawsuit. These guys aren’t evil - They’re incompetent, probably understaffed and not funded properly. The game was likely rushed out since they’d slated the release date sometime around summer 2021.
Your Lobby only showing “20 games” is actually 35 or so games, and it’s not because of low pop, but rather that they F’d up the game browser and chat system so badly that there’s like 100-500 different “shards” of different players. (You’ll notice running into the same people over and over during the same day).
As for the refund? Ehh… 2 opinions - IMO you probably should be eligible if you can prove that your problem means that you can’t use the product you’ve bought, or otherwise that Bliz FACTUALLY did not deliver a usable product holding the technical qualities that they promised. Other opinion is that: Don’t preorder shit if you can’t accept (or afford) the fact that sometimes you’ll straight up just lose money from the product not being what you expected.
I looked up your issue, and there seems to be a few (rare) cases that either HAVE or more likely HAVE HAD some issue similar to yours. Some of them had the “Game cannot be installed yet” and others “1MB remaining”. Do they still have it? Haven’t seen much about it for the past few days.
Here I go with my pc specs: ryzen 5 1600x, 16 gb 3.2 Mhz, rx 590 Sapphire AMD 50 anniversary, sdd nvme Western Digital. I know Radeon Software is crap but I’m playing DIIR to the max at 1080, 60 fps whitout any problem.
my partner having same issue acer laptop- seems BNET keeps dropping connection- have tried bnet and bnet beta client. beta was more stable but still D/C every 5-10 minute. server interruption and lagouts
have tried refreshing ip, restarting firewall, admin mode for both bnet and diablo2r, updated all drivers.
will be in game for anywhere between 1 second and 10 minutes when the game will “drop” lag out and disconnect- after alt/tabbing it will show bnet client as offline and trying to reconnect.- have restarted and tried both bnet and bnet beta, as well as verified files for d2r
have now also reinstalled both bnet client and d2r- problem still persists. game randomly disconnects, battlenet client goes “offline” then back to online.
i am playing alongside them on my PC, with no similar issues, not being removed from the same game(s) as them, seems to be a battlenet issue communicating with server and dropping their connection.
this issue did not exist with the d2r beta for said person.
have tried reinstalling and launching from both HD and SSD
