Like all good software “maintenances”, something broke on game creation time since the “update”.
I can’t create games one after the other, even though the create game button is not frozen.
I create the next game and i get the stupid “This character could not be found on server…” message.
If I wait more, then create the game it works. What gives blizzard???

Another important thing: the issue is not present in AMerica, only EU is the problem.

I can confirm this too. It’s become useless to join baalruns, because as soon as one run is done, the next either can’t be created or players can’t join at the usual speed. Like this it doesn’t make any sense to seriously grind for xp - by seriously I mean with characters 97+, as they depend on fast and ongoing games with full player counts.
So close to the ladder and I just wanna finish my 98 sorc to 99. As it stands with this bug though, it’s either back to mfing or taking a break until this is fixed. Bummer.
every time i exit a solo game (cuz thats all i do) the game sits on a black screen with the D2 logo , then it loads the OFFLINE character select screen, then i click online characters “FAILED TO LOAD CHARACTERS TRY AGAIN”, i do that and it works. Same when loading up the game. Does maintenance in blizzard speak mean …We are taking down servers to make the game even more unplayable, cuz it doesnt have any MTX to make us money?" or what.

Guys what was the maintenance for? Was it a reset back to square one? Did you switch 50% of EU Server capacity off?
It is impossible to have a decent series of baalruns going…

Had the same issue.
Created a single player char, ran around for like 2-3sec. Exited, went back to MP and could create and play as normal.
Seems its resolved now?
No, not necessarily. I now get random “this character is already in a game” when creating games too “fast” - the quotes here because it should NOT be a too fast creation since we have the creation time limit right ???
