I had to get his entire D2R folder and replace that one with mine.
Took a while to download but, my computer has been running since yesterday and it’s still at 99%.
But I read a lot about people not being able to play due to crappy servers so I might now have missed muched…
Press windows key + R > Type %programdata% > Click OK > Delete the Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders
Press windows key + R > Type %appdata% > Click OK > Delete the Battle.net folder
Press windows key + R > Type %localappdata% > Click OK > Delete the battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders
Make sure to right click and run the Battle.net App as Administrator and then try it again. You may need to redirect the download to you Diablo II folder.
Install stuck at 99% with around 130kb remaining, I used the pause option and then unpaused and installation completed. Not sure if this will work for any of you but worked for me.
Does not work for me ether. Still the same…247,10 kb left to download for over an hour.
There was no problem with the OpenBeta Version…download and installation with no problems
Finally…download complete
I disconnected my PC from the router and set a new connection with my mobile phone as a hot spot. After restart of battle.net launcher the download was completed in one sec.
After that I reconnected to my router and everything works.
Then deleted Blizzard Entertainment and Battlenet folders inside %appdata%, %localappdata%, and %programdata%.
Then re-download new bnet installer from Blizzard. Then re-install with Admin.
Then start it “As Administrator”.
What DID work:
A user above mentioned something about a VPN. Normally I do not play games with a VPN, but I figured I’d try it. My download was as usual stuck at 99% with 1.4mb left. I paused. Fully exited Battlenet. Then connected my VPN to the nearest server. Then started Battle.net again. Then resumed. It instantly finished downloading. I can play now.
Blizzard is somehow IP blocking us… That’s why our downloads are not finishing.
