Hi guys,
I need to ask you for advice about the great poleaxe (as in the topic). Is it a good base for a runeword? If so, for what runeword? Infinity? Insight? BotD? Or maybe something else I haven’t consider, yet. Thank you in advance for your advices.

It is good base for Insight and Infinity, but it should be Ethereal.
But is it better than a tresher? What about BotD? Is it a better option than a War Pike?
GPA has the best average damage. Better than Colossus Voulge and Cryptic axe and It will allow you to get a good IAS frame.
Thresher and Giant thresher have lower average damage but have better ias, and overall are preferred.
I would not use anything else than GPA, Thresher or Gthresher for Infinity. Ethereal of course. Even for Insight…but Insight is ok also in CV if you don’t mind the strength req and low ias.
If you want 1h i would use Berserker Axe, if 2h …war pike has low ias…I would use eth gpa or maybe even a Ghost spear, due to the same ias issue. In my humble opinion GPA would be preferred for botd also.

With GPA u don’t need to use ias jewel in andi helm if u have fortitude in armor =)
imagine having that and then roll still below 400% ed
