One minor thing the devs overlooked about our character screens that I immediately noticed is that hardcore characters in the character screen and in the lobby don’t stand in their default attack position as they do in OG D2. HC characters should always be at the ready, it’s a minor thing, but please make it happen! It’s kind of irritating logging in and seeing my characters standing around like some softie.

Yes please… that’s something that bothers me immensely.
Also, why is the lobby so barebones in features? Why don’t we see Levels of the characters when we mouseover them? Why can’t we click on them and see their Ladder rank (once it started)
It’s like the Lobby was some afterthought without much sticking to what made the original great.
Where are the custom channels aswell… like a Trade channel or a dedicated Hardcore channel? In D2 I really liked to chill in the lobby, in D2R it feels like a waste of time really.

Yeah to add to that, we should be able to mouse over the characters in the lobby. I would also like to see the return of the little flavor text we could add to our profiles, but I don’t see that happening. I don’t know what it is about modern UI design, but it really lacks the flavor and soul of some past designs. We could do better here, but at least it’s not quite as bad as the completely butchered UI of WAR3:R

yeah. the lobby dosent feel right. no character profile, no level and i also really miss the feature of hc character standing in attack position.
where are the old channels like Amazon Camp? Trading etc? I want to chose from channels and even create my own channels.

also if u die we need the “wanderer” guy back and not a nacked character! i want to join the lobby with a dead lvl 99 cha.

Hardcore characters absolutely need the old posture! As a HC only player this is something that really bothers me and all of my fl. Regarding the lobby - please, please give us back the character profile and the ghosted wanderer.

That’s one of my first memories when i logged in for the first time in battle.net back in the 90s - the hardcore characters posture in the channel.
This needs to be addressed!
Need to FIX this! It was really nice feature.
And disconnected (dead) hc characters should be wearing a grey robe.
