For a few days now, pindle has not dropped a single unique, i mean really not a single one, with so many runs. i have never had that in my 20 years of experience. how does it look for you?
Pindle-runs are one of the major causes of the server outages so I believe they could have tuned it down to stop people hammering it.
spent some time on him on a weekend - ~35-40 runs, got 4 uniques, nothing special though.
IMHO Pindle worth running in offline with high MF and /players5-8. Running it solo online - not worth time at all unless you’re botting. His droptables are huge and chances are far from impressive.
I feel that too.
In the last few days I’ve done several runs with around 440 MF and unique drops came pretty rare. And when they come, are pure garbage.
Unlike Mephisto and Baal, which almost always comes something, I excludes Pindle from my route.
Unless I want to farm gold (since I don’t have the Goldfinder Barb build yet), it’s usually pretty decent to take the yellow drops and sell them for about 35k each.
Reducing droprate to fix crap server crashes seems a bit stupid no?
I hope it is just bad luck.

these were exactly my thoughts.
I have lost confidence in blizzard and therefore this would not surprise me at all so solve their problems.
It was pretty good for me on Nightmare and i got Ribcracker for my Druid really early. Also got some good gear. But we tried it with friend and got 1 unique with 100 runs. So it is random and i think it works as intended. Keep looking, the Magic Find is really weird in Diablo. You could get several Immortal Orge Maul but not getting Totemic Mask Jala’s Mane even till 88 level (that is my struggle 
I’ve gotten a Shako off of him but nothing else. The problem Pindle isn’t like other bosses. See, other bosses have a rare chance of dropping their best table. Where as Pindle can drop ANYTHING which makes his overall table absolutely ginormous. It’s not a matter of X MF or X runs to get something. You have to get really lucky, and since most of that pool is garbage you’re going to see that more often than something good.
I seem to get better drops off meph, i know pindle can drop higher, but in practice nowt drops from him and i do both at same time
I’ve had no luck with him lately tbh but since its so quick to get to and kill i just kill him last after I’ve done a pit run for a little extra chance rather than a dedicated loot run in act 5
Well i did a 10 run test myself shortly after reading this. I know 10 is a small number but below is how many uniques from the same game from both pindle and Meph
Pindle = 0
Meph = Average 1 per game unique or a set item
Last 10 games meph has dropped in no order
Kias Tiara
Saracens Amulet
A Vipermaji armor
Escutas wand (low stats)
Skin or the flayed armor
Valkyrie wing helm
A nice pair of silk weave boots
A Lightsaber
and that ethereal battle cetus thing for assassin
plus a few others

I feel that pindle is slightly nerfed, might have to revive my D2 Sorc and give her a try on the old game.
Pindle is nerfed…it does not make a sense to farm him. It is wasting your time.
you can find a topic re “X was nerfed” about anything, just because people “feel like it”.

RNG is RNG. You’ve just been unlucky. They wouldn’t nerf the drop rate to make people stop farming it without announcing it in the patch notes, it would be like self-sabotage. Í know what you’re thinking, but no, they’re not that dumb.
Btw, remember that champions, uniques and superuniques (excluding bosses) always drop the same amount of items no matter your player setting. /players 3-5-7 only reduces the no-drop chance, but these mobs don’t have a no-drop chance to begin with.
Pindle is still Pindle as he always was, is and shall be, with the same drop rate and loot table.

I have fiddled around with my build less mf but more 1 shot kills all type of thing
I got that mf belt somewhere on my mules, if I went all out mf I think I’m hitting 500 mf
and meph is easily doo-able so is diablo and pindle
