why we trade at all? who spend couple of life to gather ber or jah for what? for faster kill ball 1000 times? what sense in this? ty[ical gamers are out of quee in this. always will be stronger even after 10000 hour. so why play in this any tell me?
Diablo 2 is a culture, a whole generation has grown up on this game - if this game does not bring you pleasure and you do not understand its essence, then just stop playing.
P.S. We only have one life, each of us decides for himself how to spend our time and have fun.
what sence is kill andariel 1000 times kill nihlthak 1000 times kill ball 1000 times kill same diablo 1000 times kill mephisto 1000 times and still be very much stronger gamers. so? and all in this u find only 1 ber
if you don’t understand this, I cannot explain it to you - coz the sighted cannot explain to the blind how the sun shines
u compare game for natural shine from sun? better jah drop than smile of own dauwghter? ber is worth 200 dolar? for me 2 day of full work? so u?
The grind is what makes a diablo game, a diablo game. I do feel this game is ready to have some more endgame content added. This it deserves imo.
u not recive any more mabe a clone ball with anihibius + 2 skill but cost wiil be 1000 hour ur time and it be mabe uber typical boss
yes i am comparing it
because this is the time of my life - and only I choose where to spend it
do you want to buy Ber for cash? everyone can afford it - but it’s NOT INTERESTING
it is interesting to either find Ber or exchange something for Ber
you can’t understand D2
you will not be able to understand D2
when u think ill be worthy of diablo? 100 kill diablo i have for sure. 200 hour all at lest, drop worth 5 ist for 200h game. so?
I trade more than playing the game actually.
Trading for me is super fun and engaging, especially I can do it even when I am not at home.
I also love switching around my builds because I get bored quickly. Since I am not rich enough to equip every build, I retrade everything once in a while.
Also trading is the best way to get rich if you are smart.
In the last week I basically traded my enigma for 4 ber runes ![]()
while i get that, there is no real possibility of an end game in a hack n slay game that is about finding items and playing all kinds of weird builds.
Greater Rifts? No difference than running pits for the billions time. At one point your max level rift is just like your p8 pits.
You saw already in d3 that rifts are not a solution that was very welcome hence D3 was generally a dead game for many other reasons as well of course.
If you need then the ever evolving end game, you actually are creating a MMO. Then you will introduce raids and rated pvp. Since blizzard is incapable of balancing anything, it will end up in an absolute clown fiesta (look at wow atm lol)
So rather be careful what you wish for.
I did play a korean grinding MMO for a long time which was all about Leveling to Max, Finding super rare gear and trying different builds (no resets btw, lvling to max took 3 month of hardcore grinding hours every day)
Endgame was basically also just farming, making new chars and well Guild Pvp and random pvp rooms. They did however created “MVPs” that were world bosses all over the place that dropped special items and only spawned once per hour or even less after killed. Killing them solo was basically also impossible. Wouldn’t work in a non MMO though.
Regardless, I played it for many years and never were looking for any other “end game”
same, trading is very exciting - it allows you to get what you want and helps others to get what they want
this game should be called Diablo 2 Trading ![]()
Well, you might just find some fun and even get to know some friends.
Thats something not mentioned in the drop rates, so dont expect a red light or something.
Honestly, when I started playing D2 back in the days, we just ran Baal and had fun.
We got rich in runes just by having fun. If its a pain to you, just dont do it. Because yes, in your line of thinking, you will never get anything else but pixels.
godspeed.
Hello my friend. Stay awhile and listen…
i enyoy every single minute of this game, drops or not ^^ still exciting and fun and speed up things and farm more and more efficient try new chars new builds, but indeed i grow up in the 90s played this game all my childhood this is by far the most fun i have in years of gaming only other game i realy enyoyed as kid(onpc) was wotlk. nostalgia is a huge factor to realy realy enyoy this game on a deeper level.
if you dont enyoy the content i suggest you change game asap, You should play what you enyoy.
A life unlived is no different than death. Diablo-II
Because this is the game.
That’s really odd that after all this years d2 still provide such excitement and entertainment while all activision does - not and wont ever
It’s just great game made so many years ago that almost „few” generations could enjoy it.
And with new graphics, eyes dont hurt anymore
all u say the diablo is ur only 1 game in life, so u must be blizzard agent at all .(imposiible not compare any else game)
It has indeed a special place in the hearts of some us. This is, as someone before very eloquently put it: the game of a generation. Those were different times…multiplayer games were in their infancy…gaming was much more hands off…developers had 'tegridy and followed their vision and didn’t try to please everybody and make compromises for the sake of just increasing the player base.(I’m looking at you Acti-Blizz).
D2 was designed to be frustrating. But it the same time if you understood it, you were gonna fall in love with it. It’s not a game for everyone and that’s ok.
The fact that they literally resurrected the game and even more resumed the balance patches from where they left them after 1.13c, more than a decade ago, is amazing in this day and age. More than that, the fact that they didn’t make compromises about the core gameplay in order to make it more palatable for the new generation and modern gaming trends is a testament that the guys at Vicarious Visions understood what made this game a masterpiece. Who knows maybe VV are a worthy successor of those values OG Blizz had. Time will tell.
Is D2 the greatest game of all time? Maybe… It’s subjective. But it is one of the greats, one of the genre defining games? Definitely! Diablo is for ARPG what Doom is for FPS and StarCraft for RTS. The benchmark!
many of disconnect or inconnect make this game worse than ubisoft and it is make it down game, today valve is mercedes like u were before. I still dont understand game, i have items worth rune but rune dont drop so where rune come from?
Standard drop chance for Ber rune: 1 in 1095823
and for Zod → 1 in 3841314
Your welcome.
Ps: having 5 chars 92-95lvl i haven’t seen Zod and Cham in drop (yet).
