How can I trap the mouse cursor when playing in windowed mode?

Hello!

I have searched all over but not found a solution to this. I discovered my GPU is a lot more calm when I play in windowed mode but I would love for the cursor to stay in the game window. It seems the only solution is by using an app like Lock Cursor Tools but I am not sure if this is allowed or not.

Is there any other approach? Or can I use such a tool?

i had the same issue, i temporarily solved it by playing the cinematics, i played a random cinematic, cursor disappeared, then i skipped it ,when i was back in the main menu, cursor was locked in within the screen border.
