many ppl say its worth to cube runes up to ist but not above it
or my be cube the guls but thats it.
but… if ohm worth around 6 ists and lo worth around 12 ist
why not to cube 2 ohm for lo?
please tell me if im missing anything

You can cube up to Lo. But usually you can get a Jah for Ber. And a Cham is worth less than a Sur. Also a lot of people Cube 2 Sur to 1 Ber

If you trade Guls for Ist+Mal then Lo in cube would cost you 12 ist, Ohm - 6, Vex - 3.
If you cube Guls from 2 Ist then Lo in cube would cost you 16 ist, Ohm - 8, Vex - 4.
Maybe someone would give you vex now.
yea man we never cube ist to gul
but if i have many guls and vexs i can roll it up to lo and its fine?

I’m not picking up any rune below Fal anymore, cubing them into Lem’s.
Cubing Gul’s into Vex’s
Sur’s in Ber’s
Mal’s into Ists
And nothing more !
So you keep some small runes for low fast trades like Pul - Lem - Um
It’s fine if you need and want this rune very much, though I think you can also trade Lo for like 10-11 ists if you want to save extra 1-2 ist.

Well yeah, sometimes waiting for that trades to happen takes whole day or even days. Just to save time making this rune in cube seems worth it.
Because people need no so many ists. Average price for vex is 3 ist, but cube cost is 4. If I need vex, I will never sell Lo for ists. But I will sell it for ohm+vex+gul+ist. In your calculations it could be the same, but now I need no spend time to buy vex with 3 ist (it is hard to find such offer, actually).
You never should cube runes (except of sur). If you spend some time for trading, you can change high runes with 1/16 or even 1/8 tax.
Also, if you gonna cube runes, you’d better create a trade game instead. If you offer a cube value for trade, you find a seller in 1-2 minutes.
It is even worse: average price is sur+ist=Lo. Market is ridiculous. I still did not get it, but this is the fact: you can cube 2 sur for ber, sell ber for 2 Lo, sell Lo for sur+ist 2 times = 2 ist profit.
Sur/Lo are about the same rarity in terms of drops, but Lo is more valuable because it’s used for Grief and Fortitude. It’s just supply and demand, maybe you can trade Sur for a Lo but many people will want Sur + Mal or Sur + Ist for Lo.
Don’t forget that Cham and Zod are the the two rarest runes and yet Cham is at best worth only about a Vex and Zod is at best worth only about an Ohm. Sur is often cubed up to Ber, but never up to Jah because Jah is worth slightly less than Ber (similar to Sur vs Lo).
Don’t ask me to explain why sometimes a Zod is worth more than 2x Cham or a Ber is worth more than 2x Sur, it doesn’t make sense to me either.
Well maybe cause someone did drop that perfectly rolled six soc eth weapon and wants one quickly at all cost, patience is not a virtue for everyone:)
