$5 for each extra tab I think is quite reasonable.

No it is not reasonable to suddenly start paying for a game that is supposed to be no subscription and never was advertised to have MTX.
It is very much pay to win just as much in PoE, i know it is because i have like 30 tabs or something and it allows me to do things the free player can’t.
Yea it allows you to save time by not having to make a bunch of mules to store every eth socket armor, weapon, gems, jewels, charms, keys, runes, craftingmats, rings/ammy/circlets, etc.
Free players won’t be able to save as much time as paying customers.
Let us buy convenience and pay something to keep the game going.
Just give us a extra stash where we can put our runes and let the runes be stackable to like 1000 <3 i gladly pay 5$ for that!
if its on sale buy more accounts, it helps a lot. 
sounds reasonable approach to support the game , and maybe enable blizzard to create more content for it.
i can pay 5$ for 20 shared stash tabs.
Only if they throw in rune and gem stacking.
i think this is hard to code, because d2lod runs in background. but shared stashtabs only takes 5-10 minutes to implement.
