Is there any possibility of importing old saved characters from the original 2000-2004 version of the game to at least the local game mode? If so, how is it possible to implement it?
find the save file location on your PC and copy from the “Diablo II” folder to the “Diablo II Resurrected” Folder (if you used Plugy it will only copy the first page of your personal stash tab) also it didnt copy over the gear that my merc had on so he was naked (just put it in your inventory or something)
edit: i dont think you can copy the character from D2R back to the original D2

You can indeed import your old characters to Diablo2: Resurrected if you’re playing on PC, and import offline characters from one version of the game to the other.
