Can you please tell me how to activate individual drop?
I though that version was automatically providing it but it’s just 7 players that are sharing 1 drop right now!
So how? when?

it’s not diablo 2 either! because diablo 2 was an old game with OLD looting system
It’s Diablo 2 RESURRECTED ! So i expect it to BE BETTER!

D2 didn’t have auto gold pickup. D2 didn’t have shared stash. D2 didn’t require an online connection to play, D2 had LAN. D3 got that too. Except for LAN. So what’s your point?
As stated… it’s not called Diablo 2 Remastered. It’s literally called Resurrected as if they wanted to bring a fresh aspect to an old game to bring it off of life support. To an extent they did or they still tried.
I didn’t pay $40 to play a game that still feel 20+ years old.

then why did you buy this game just continue to play diablo 2 LOD or even diablo 1 because… the best is subjective right?

I spent many years playing Diablo II and it is true that not leaving the loot like this would be taking away a piece of what it was. But really an individual loot would help to play more in a group and people would not go as much alone, which would add more fun.
In addition, the auto-pick (hack) and the bots that would steal all the loot would be avoided. Whoever believes that there will not be or there is not already, that there will be eyes.
I love playing with my friends with this loot, but I can’t always play with them. So I think it would be great to have an individual loot.

They could give the option of having it and in case of using individual a penalty. The market does not have to break.
Even there are no more drops, but the drop was the same, but only the person who touched it saw it.
Many better options than the current one, which makes us antisocial. The company is more fair to people.
We’re not even a day into release and people want BiS gear lol. Play D3, it became stale af with loot 2.0. We don’t need enigma adding +1+X to teleport every season…
Nobody asks for more loots, just be individual. It could drop exactly the same, but it is distributed.
People don’t want to have fast gear. Rather, not having to hang around or die trying to pick up an object. The melee’s come out benefited and if there are already third-party programs …
And then people will cry that the individual drop rate is too low.

Of course people are always going to cry. We always want more and more. But that’s where developers should know where they put the limit.
If the limit is to leave the current loot then … it is what there is.
Start game solo with password then all the goodies are yours.
You want personal loot because you cant solo and you want to steal the loot from others who can do your job for you so you can be a total leech
That’s the beauty of individual loot. You take the risk to go solo if you want the full drop rate. OR you go with a team in safety knowing the drop rate is divided by those with you.

While I would prefer individual loot.
An OPTION to have either is objectively the best. You cannot possibly object to that unless you are a loot ninja.
I also wish people would stop with the misinformation that individual loot would flood the “market” and ruin trading. It wouldn’t. It doesn’t work like that. The significant drops are exactly the same except shared automatically and fairly. With public loot, melee will always get the good drops, that is a FACT, and it is unfair.

This. Let the game creator decide what he wants. Killing everything from afar only to have some melee (or worse: a hacker) picking up all the goods is pretty silly.
And once we have PL people will start complaining how little loot drop, how unfair RNG is and that some people do nothing and still get (the best) loot …
And after next time we blinked we have the boring loot pinata we got in D3.
You already have the option to not play with strangers.

No, that’s not an automatic development. It could happen, but smart people on Blizzard’s end could prevent that as well. Though, do they still have these guys?
Ploot works perfectly fine in PoE.
You mention people who contribute nothing but still luck out on the best loot. And you’re right with that. However, with loot as is those people get even more than their share.
The thing is PoE was reworked with Ploot in mind.
Just slapping an Ploot option on D2 will not have the same effekt.
Image games you see 1/8 of any loot drop, would this make a good experience with out addtional changes? It means it quite possible that you won’t see any loot on multiple champions and boss kills in row.
