I have seen tons of cool singleplayer mods, but I am very scared to try one of them because I don’t want to get banned (my only intention is to use them in SINGLEPLAYER). I have read multiple topics about this, but can’t find a definitive answer since Blizzard doesn’t seem to reply to questions regarding mods. Hopefully someone at Blizzard can give me (and the modding community) a definitive answer.
And you won’t find it here. I guess its 99% to use mods in singleplayer.
Thanks for the answer but I’m still very sceptic and won’t use any mod until Blizzard gives us some information about the subject, which they most likely won’t give, so I’ll just stay away from mods until there is more clarity on this subject.
Many ppl use mods, never gets banned. But blizzard is not going to ban everyday. They do this in banwaves. Maybe you get banned tomorrow, next month, or never. Nobody REALLY knows whats allowed and what not.
Dont know why blizzard cant enlighten us.
But as mentioned earlier, i guess if you use this kind of stuff in singleplayer only, you should be pretty fine.
Thanks again for the reply. This makes me want to try out some singleplayer mods and just see what happens. If i get banned I will be pretty bummed out (but i will seriously doubt they will ban it if it’s only singleplayer). If I do happen to get banned I at least have an answer to what Blizzard’s opinion on singleplayer modding is though.
