Hello, fellow demonslayers! I’m a little confused. In D2LoD you could create character, get yourself a good map layout and farm bosses. Then you could play with this character with your friends online.
Now in D2R if you want to play with your friends, you have to create Online character and every time you exit - there is a new map layout. That’s a new reality for farming bosses or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
what you describe is tcp / ip.
this modality no longer exists.
if you want to keep your map then you must play offline. but this also means that it makes it a Single Player game and you cannot play with anyone else.
does single player save the map i thought all maps are random generated only the main towns and boss areas not
The layout may differ but the direction is always the same…
If you want Andariel, always go right from the room with the waypoint.
If you want Meph, it is always to the left from the room with the waypoint.
It is the same for almost all dungeons, left or right. There are exceptions like the summoner where it is RNG but it is not common-case.
