Remove them black borders, its not 2000 anymore. peopel got phones and big monitors now…

those where added in the beta because having a bigger field of vision is giving people an unfair advantage over someone with another screen. they settled for 16:10(9?) for everyone.
having it in singleplayer would be cool though
that wasn’t the only reason. The Mob AI doesn’t have that big of an aggro radius, so u could cheese the game. U could kill everything without them even reacting.

Heaven forbid they tweak the A.I a tad bit to make them more on-point with today’s technology. But I get it… it wasn’t like that 20 years ago so all the no changers would probably stroke out. 
They would have done that if they could, but it breaks the game or took too long to remake.
I actually think they can’t change it, but I have no sources. I still don’t know if they were able to get the source code of D2 or reverse engineered it, but if not… well then they perhaps can’t change it at all
