I was playing today in a baal run and I think I 've seen my first bot. The guy denied running a script, but he was consistently in the Throne of Deruction, with a tp open, before everyone had entered the game after leaving the last. I ran about 30 runs with him and he did not falter in this pattern. I haven’t seen anything like this in Resurreected until now, but recognise the patterns from Diablo 2 of old. Don’t get me wrong, I know there’s not much Blizzard can do about it and it was/is bound to happen. I didn’t realise until now how refreshing it’s been to play without them, I could be mistaken … though I very much doubt it. Has anyone else witnessed bot like behaviour ?
I do not see how that tells you that he is a bot? personally after 20 teleportation to the throne we find our way very easily and we are used to it. as to which is the tp, if it is partly normal for the public to open a tp for you otherwise how do you manage to join it at the throne?

did not see a bot so far xcept for the spammy type, but then again i rarely join public games

Saw more than a couple doing Chaos Runs in 7+ games. All enigma Hammerdins. The first indication they were bots was that they still went and checked all the seals despite the fact that it was obvious they have been popped.
Or it was someone who did so many chaos runs that he is just doing it on auto-pilot.

on the other hand where it is possible, it is that it uses maphack there are a lot of them running and with the same options as on d2 lod. so autotele, chicken, etc …
