Keymapping and shortcuts

There are some option of keymapping, which I don’t realy get. Perhaps, because they just don’t work:

“different shorcuts for different weapon-set”-option:
doesn’t seem to work. (I can’t have that, tried several times.)
“v”-key for change of map-display
doesn’t work as well. If you press “v” (that’s the preset-key) just nothing happens.

I managed to set two shortcuts for the same action, somehow: one for the left action, one for the right. The action is the basic-attack at my Assassin. (online-version.) But I can’t do that for my sorceress. So How did I manage this? Or is this a bug? if so, I would appreciate to change this to a FEATURE… :slight_smile:

You need to set your personal key for EVERY character. You can SAVE a personal Keymap, but how do you LOAD it? (so you can set a saved one for other characters with a few clicks, and don’t need to remap it for every damn char out there…)

Setting personal keys for each character is a pain. Especially as the other settings are saved. People were complaining about this in the beta and it wasn’t changed…

I found the option to “load” the custom-settings:

  • click on “reset to default”
  • select “custom” (the bottom-option)

This will load your before safed custom-settings.

It seems - sadly - that the double-setting for one skill (one time right, one time left) is a bug.

And: When I load my Sorceress, the game reacts to “F5”, but desplays “7” as hotkey. (Its realy set to “F5”.) This won’t be saved. So this is another bug…

Test it. This might just be a display-error. (As it is for my soreceress.)

Making new keybinds for each char and losing them sometimes is long.
