Anybody know when Ladder is start? I see a lot of people stop playing Non Ladder (Me too) Becouse we got all end game stuff and now game start be boring… 
Ladder will not solve the problem, you will just repeat same experience again and again.
This game needs a challenge, is too easy, at a point you get to one-shot everything around even in Chaos and Baal runs so?

Guess it wont start this year, maybe late january/early feb. With a little bit of luck 
didnt they mention something about a ptr?
your right. no sense in playing this game despite pvp. all chars are equipped with everyhting they need.

Well it is a bit more challenging when you play Hardcore, and Servers are kind of stable compared to the start of ressurected. Some of you may find some more interresting Hours of Gameplay there.
Played HC since start, prett, dead atm =( guess most ppl are waiting for ladder. I hope population goes up after ladder release.

Yeah thats true population is realy low on some servers restarting D2R helps sometimes showing different games then.
Game desperately needs ladder. I personally cannot wait for ladder to start.
why? the game is soo easy that in one weak you will finish hell and have almost of stuff needed to one shot CS and Baal runs, so whats the point of ladder, one more weak of fun then boring again? anyway, they can not do ladder one weak long to reset it every weak…
the game needs a challenge, an end-game, otherwise is already a dead game.

Yeah, i never understood ladder. “I’m bored of the game so i wanna be forced to play it again”. Why not just…delete your characters manually and start playing again? That way you can have a ladder season anytime you want.

It took me 4 deaths to get my 5th Barb BiS stuff and capable of soloing ubers. Now im there i want to do it again, but competitively against others.
I dont think the game is easy on HC without twinking.
I think ladder will not change a thing. People who have plenty of time to play will collect the gear soon enough. On the other side those who play from time to time, because they work, have family and so on will probably never make it, especially if the ladder’s resets will be frequent

So what?! Then don’t play it. To say ladder wont change anything, just because it wont work for YOU, doesnt mean it wont work for other people. Thats egoistic.
and so ? What’s new with ladder ? Economy ? Don’t care , and i’m playing many hours per days.
And even if i want to play ladder, i don’t have the character slot for this.

And what’s your reason ? I want to know them to understand you. Because for me, ladder is pointless.

Speaking for HC, as i’m playing HC only, i like the fresh economy, that there are actually tradegames where you can trade uniques for uniques, not only highrunes, cause early on ladder there simply are no HRs.
Hopefully the population in HC will rise again with ladder, motivated ppl coming back.
The leaderboard is one reason too for me. Sure i will never reach the top end of it, but it was always fun to compete with people around your position, you follow their progress, try to beat them, just for yourself.
HC Leaderboards are maybe little bit more interesting than SC.
Happened many times back then, that you whispered them, or they whispered you, and in the end you played together.
I dont need any “endgame” in D2. D2 is all about nostalgia and good, old, pure ARPG for me. For any needed “endgame” there are many many other games out there.

Although I always wished there were a Solo Self Found ladder. That seems more meaningful to me.
My issue is that many of the others you are referring to will buy their way to ladder success with real money. The competition is not fair in that regard. This is why SSF ladder would be amazing. A real competition.
