I will start with Sorceress: Sorceresses are of the Zann Esu Clan Athletic, affable, and self-assured, Sorceresses hardly seem like scholarly bibliophiles hidden away from civilization.
As of remaster the character design been masterfully kept the same as original except maybe for the character underbob that somehow was hidden under clothes - It’s an adult game, I wouldn’t let my kid play Diablo unless I’m not at home.
Druid: The Druids shun the use of traditional magic or Dubhdroiacht, as they call it. Living by the Caoi Dúlra, a philosophy that exhorts oneness with the natural world, they instead practice a form of magic based in their close bond to nature. Through this intimate kinship with the world of Sanctuary, a Druid has the power to command fire, earth, and the winds. And I have to repeat the last one: Winds.
Reason why in D2 the character model has a ponytail, I mean hey, I wouldn’t want to get hair in my face either while masterfully controlling a huricane to crush my enemies would I? Also in D2R somehow they aged drastically. at least 15 years older than their original form. Transforming into bears and werewolves requires a certain physical power. Let’s stick to the logic please. In rest, everything else looks good.
Paladin: I will start with… WHY?! How does looking homeless make you look… holy, disciplined? A face that would scare demons and undead alike? How I am supposed to be an Agent of Holy when I can’t get a decent haircut and my face look like I’ve took a beating? ( No offense to homeless people, this is serious feedback, I mean it. ). I would have added a photo on how it was supposed to look based on original, but I can’t insert links here.
Barbarian: A nomadic wanderer, the Barbarian combines brawn and ruggedness with a mastery of weapons, using devastating melee attacks along with war cries to boost his allies—or demoralize his enemies
No feedback here, looks like its supposed to, people been complaining about the lack of “muscles” but I think he’s fine.
Necromancer: A Necromancer’s dominion over life and death grants this grisly apothecary the ability to summon skeleton armies and golems, and to unleash baneful poison, curse, and bone skills upon his foes.
I don’t have anything to say, he looks exactly like I expected him to look.
Assassin: the Vizjerei deemed it of the utmost importance that these Assassins maintain the purest, most focused minds. They should live in meditation and draw their power from within, not from external forces that could easily mask demonic interference. To this end, the Order would not employ the magic arts directly; rather, they would use ingenious devices and enchanted items to battle those possessing great magical powers. To further their campaign against demonic corruption, they concentrated on honing the natural martial abilities of their bodies, both physical and mental.
I should probably remind that even though they came from east they are not Asian. they used to live in the Aranoch desert area and also in Kehjistan, part of Caldeum. Maybe a small hint at that is that there are no asian people in Lut Gholein. Jerhyn’s palace in Lut Gholein being an old Vizjerei fortress. Which leaves to the second part, did you know in the desert is to hot to wear pants and be an Assassin? Which is why they wore leggins and enough body armor to allow them be fast and versatile in their martial arts thought by Viz-Jaq’taar. The Mage Slayers. However their heavier armor version does include that.
Amazon: In Askari culture, only women serve as warriors, as their lithe bodies and superior dexterity are better suited than men for the dense jungles of their homeland. Amazon warriors are known for their deftness, superior hand-to-eye coordination, and the ferocity of their attacks. In the jungles of their homeland, Amazons are adept at the tactics of misdirection, and can even draw on the jungle to support themselves. The jungle itself can be a hindrance though, and early in training, Amazon warriors are taught how to overcome these conditions. Indeed, all Askari are taught how to hunt and fight during the night of the jungles.
… look how they massacred my boy! I’m seriously saying my boy because she doesn’t look female. The definition of a lithe body doesn’t have to include a manly face even though they’re matriarchs. Females can be strong without looking manly.
And this is my 2 cents. Thanks to all who read this far. I know it’s a lot, but it’s meaningful feedback.
