Lost all items after recovering corpse in new game

Hi,

after dying twice and expecting I can get my corpse and Items back on entering a new game, only 1 item (Spirit Monarch) was recovered into my inventory from the corpse (Apparently, my Gear was equipped via strength bug after a respec yesterday). After looting the Monarch, the corpse disappeared and all my other Items are nowhere to be found.

I would like to have my gear back.

  • Edit #1: I’m not sure if this was even caused by a strength bug, since the spirit was the only item I wasn’t able to equip and that’s pretty much legit, gaining str from other items I am perfectly able to equip with 140 something strength.

  • Edit #2: I’m pretty much quitting over this. I was playing only that character for months. I did not drop any gear, I did not violate any rules and I did nothing unusual. I sincerely did nothing wrong and now I’m screwed.

  • Edit #3: I quit. Ticket response was exactly as expected. 40 EUR for a game full of bugs that randomly delete all your gear. After years in WoW, Wc3, SC2, etc (I literally own every game) Blizzard is officially dead to me.

I feel robbed.

You can create a ticket but it will say that WoW does not restore Diablo 2: resurrected items or characters.

Its all gone, sorry to say. When you use strength bug this can happen. You only loot the gear you can equip and other gear is left on the ground as items while corpse disappears. This happened to me once but i noticed rest of the items on the ground and was able to retrieve everything.

Yeah I know, Blizzard’s policy on lost gear in D2R is pretty much that they don’t give a crap. But after dying twice and relogging, losing all gear is just intolerable.
