So im a barb dualweilding greif zerker and have an alibaba on right hand slot (offhand). However, No matter what combination i try to equip these, i always seem to attack berserk with the alibaba not the grief. Whats going on?

Dual-wielding is likely simplified to make it easy to implement. I’m guessing the berserk spell doesn’t use one of your weapons, but does something simplified for dual wielders. Just the game showing one of them in attack graphics…
Youre incorrect in every point youre trying to make, im afraid. I believe this is an actual bug. Ive tried different weapons now and can confirm its only happening with the grief. Ive also tried grief PB and Zerker.

Cool… Too long since I played barb back in the day, so was only guessing… 
I wonder if it has to do with picking the weapon with the greatest weapon damage on the hover over. It is trying to maximize your damage in that regard. IIRC alibaba has ~30-60 whilst phase blade ~30-35. This is just totally a guess. Try a dagger in your offhand to see if that fixes it. I’m really curious.
obviously grief does massive damage, but it is not shown on the weapon graphic or character screen IIRC.
The actual problem is dumber… They fixed the old “Str Bug” and in doing so, your char is checking to see if you remove each piece of gear, would you still have the dex required to use the phase blade. In your case. You dont. So it puts the Alibaba first. Since you would need to equip it, to wear your phase blade.
Its stupid.
I’m having the same problem. I think it’s alibaba! I am dual barb. And my barnar’s star is main weapon and when I put alibaba in offhand, it shows on screen as in my right hand, and the damage for concentrate (my left click) is going off of alibaba damage. Not barnar’s. It doesn’t always happen. Sometimes when I log out and back in it shows and handles them correctly, but today I can’t get them to show/work properly no matter what I do.
