Why does act2 mercenary native aura take so long to activate? It sometimes result in life and death situation. Could this be fixed?
It activates faster if you let him hit stuff (still can take a while tho)

Basically, the Act II merc will only activate his aura when he has to pick an attack. The chance of activating his aura decreases every level up, to around 2.5% at lvl90+. So if your character kills everything before the merc gets a look in, the aura won’t activate.
So for instance, at level 98, your merc has a weighted frequency of (Jab = 175, Normal Attack = 30, Aura Activation = 10)
In other words, each time the merc can perform an action, it will have a 10/215 chance to select the aura activation. That’s approximately 4.65%
With a 4.5 frame jab, you would expect the aura to activate within 2-3 seconds on average.
