Farmed Countess for a whole day with blizzard sorc and let my merc do the killing because I can’t damage her. Ended up with 0 keys and a level up so now I have a strong suspicion that Uber Keys don’t drop if the merc does the killing blow. Can anyone confirm the opposite with the same setup?
How many countess runs did you make?
No bug. On my Frostsorc the Merc was killing the countess too, always got some keys.

same was happening to me (orb/fireball sorc), was starting to think I was cursed. but it started dropping again after a while. hang in there.
orb/fb sorc here, and i too dont have problems with the key drop though my merc does the countess killing 
its just rng, there will be better times. just keep on!
Having the same experience, I do countess and summoner together, merc has to kill countess, I’ve had 2 terror keys & 8 hate keys in about 100 runs of each 
will continue to monitor it.
