I was playing a pally lvl 78 quinna well equip and i was in town when the game crashed they said cannot connect to the serveur then i leave d2r and log back in 5 min after and my character had DIED !!! I mean … I understand that crashed happend but crash that make your hardcore character die in fucking town… was i hacked or something someone enter my last game and hostile me and say wird shit and die at the end before leaving the game…
my point is… what should we do with that blizzard… i’m a big fan i wake up in the morning thinking about d2 and can’t wait for d4 to come out soon… but WTF !!! i wanna push my pally before the new reset and this happened !!

I guess, you lost your connection before you enter the town, while you was still in battle.
On the server side you stay around defenseless, while you continue playing offline on the client side for a few seconds.
But this is work as intended, to prevent players from disconnecting when facing death.
I was never in battle in that game i stayed by my chess and moved around a lil bit but i was writing to someone at the same time so no connection lost there ! Can it be another issue ?
Sad to hear man; i’ve quitted playing HC characters cause same thing happened to me. Too risky to play HC cause, for any technical issue, you can lose both the character and the time spent in playing with it.

Then it became a shitty game ? How can I want to play again aftet that at Diablo after all those years… Sad to know. i die dknowing that I was in a safe zone
