I am tired of ruining other peoples quest games and have the same happen to me. People join games, kill all bosses, leave questing party stranded and force them to create new game, only to join them again and kill all bosses again.
If I play solo, and my game has a password, I should be able to set player count for MF increase.

you never Play Diablo lod in orginal, yo make a Game open and schwup schwup the Bots enter this for Things vs Money…
No bots yet.
I have to resort to making a “free item” and dropping some crap on the ground and mfing while people fight over a cracked sword

Yes. This would work. People will say it will stretch the servers which may be true, but it breaks my heart that could prevent it.
Instead of with password, just have player capacity 1
if that were a thing, everyone gets tons of drops and ruin the trade economy within 2 days.
that’s why it will never happen.
But is the game really about the “trade economy”?
I think more than the “trade economy”, it’s just when you have all the gear you can dream about, what else can you expect? The game is pretty over when you have everything…so the scarcity of good drops is what makes me playing D2. Not some economy.
It would not, because you have to not suck and have generally pretty good gear to farm game at players >=3 (first increase in loot). So its a fair challenge.
Lol you don’t get an MF increase from more players
It’s a drop rate increase on certain monsters, and not even for all types of items.
I dunno. I can farm hell slowly with a naked blizz soso on /7. Why would I though when I can make spirit and infi before nm/by A1 nm?
“slowly” is key word here. You would hontestly do more iterations = more drops if you did p1/p3. Farm speed is more important than xtra loot.
