Patch 3.1.91735 does not fix CTD

I have just installed patch 3.1.91735, however the CTD and graphical corruption in the character preview screen still remains.

I wonder if more patches are on the way?

Has anyone managed to fix their game after applying this patch?

Two out of three installs are now working, third pc (8700k, W10, gtx1070) still glitches in character screen. You can read that as unplayable glitch with a capital g.

Are you able to play the game? that would be the first hurdle to overcome. The graphical glitches I suppose will be ironed out over time.

Yes, on all but the one pc. I didn’t walk outside of town tho, might be glitches waiting for me there.

Still not good enough to consider purchasing RotW, but enough to start laddering tomorrow.

Did you try deleting the data-folder and let it repair?

I have not deleted the data folder no. Do you mean the entire ‘Data’ folder, or the sub-folder ‘data’ inside it?.

If that does not work I think I am going to remove everything and try one LAST reinstall.

I’m talking about the /Data-folder specifically, inside your D2R install folder. Leave the rest and let the launcher repair ~22GB.

When I deleted the Data folder I saw that it wanted to download a 22 GB file, but isn’t that the entire game again in size? It would take me about 3 - 4 days to download that. I decided not to (for the time being).

Anyway, just for the record I have reinstalled the game again and still no luck, CTD every time.

Same problem game didnt start on 2 diff PCs nothing helps. All after ROW

I have re-downloaded the game, in various ways, like 30 times so far. So probably it won’t fix anything to attempt it.
