PC: Offensiv mercenary with defence mechanics

I chose an offensive mercenary from act 2 nightmare. Yes he has the might aura but his fighting style is defensive.
He walks past groups of monsters.
He hides behind walls, chests and conjured skeletons.
His fighting morale is so low that he would rather stare at walls than kill monsters.
I can partly understand the merc. I wouldn’t want to die for 50,000 gold either, and i wouldn’t want to go to war without shoes either.

Please fix ther mercenary mechanic.

Sure, shoes make the companion stronger. Then make the monster “hordes” bigger or stronger.
