I’ve found shit after tons of runs, but I fully agree. The original drop rates are good. If they make this as it is in D3, shit just gets saturated.

A big aspect of D2 was it’s economy and the aspect of trading.
Increasing drop rates kills the economy and makes trading useless.
You’ll just create another D3.

They even removed the old bnet feature to join channel and what u get now is a stupid spam of “o XXXX n YYYY” in the game find menu…
If you thing that drop rate is fine than for sure u’re playing 10 hour a day and be lucky , because if u check most of the player are having bad drop and since they cant do 200 run a day they just get bad drop or low levels…

I have shit drops, I just remember how the game and the economy used to be and will be again. There have always been trading games rather than just trading channels. I agree that they need to bring back these channels. But besides that, the drops are exactly where they need to be. There’s plenty of people that already found a jah and ber rune or two shaco’s in a row. It’s RNG and the fact that not everyone has the same RNG is exactly what RNG implies. It’s working as intended and there’s no need to screw it up just to make it idiot and child proof like all the other games out there. Diablo never was a game that held your hand and never should be.

Well, if you think that TIME >SKILL ok, for sure this game is balaced since in old day even bot could do find run without dying, but i think it’s time to make the game more challenging and more rewarding, boss at HELL level should be HARD or at least a good fight, the meta now is:
-having 10 hour a day
-blizzard sorc with bad stats item but tons of mf
-random teleport to search the boss
-kill it with 1 blizzard
-repeat

You get me wrong if you think i want to change the meta in the game, what i’m trying to explain you is that not every person who bought the game have 10 hour a game to make 200 find run , so why not increase drop chance to let all player enjoy the game , ppl who play 10 hour will get more rewarded too and the gap between would be the same .
I get it u’ve so many free hours to play the game and u want to get advantage to the poor player who have job and can play few hours a day , but maybe you could be less selfish and let everyone have fun no?
Unless you’re against a better drop rate because u want to sell item for money … Because this’s what happend when people with money and no time to play and ppl with many free hours and few money play in the same game…

Lol, you’re good at making assumptions.
I work 40hrs a week and game in the evening, so far from the 10 hours you assume.
I don’t care if people with less time get better gear, what you’re forgetting is that increasing the drop rates gives the people with more time even more gear, thus making gear worth less because there will be an abundance of items, this in turn will change the entire dynamic and economy of the game. There’s almost no reason to play if there’s no need to trade or farm for gear. The sole puprose will just be to lvl to 99 and be done if the gear is either too easy to find or cheap AF to trade since everyone has everything.
If every one in your country would get 1 million dollars, money would be meaningless since all prices will go up and eventually what would cost you 1 dollar now, would go on and cost 10000 dollars. The same will happen if you increase drop rates.

Hmpf. I don’t get it. Why is trade so important again? Because, if you need less trade, you will have more time to actually play the game…
But trade will never cease, even if the drop-rates are increased. Not that it is realy necessary, but it wouldn’t hurt, either, imho.
If the drop rate was changed, rare would not be rare and unique would not be unique. This is the problem with D3. Increasing drop rate destroys balance, it does not make it better. Once drop rate is increased too much items flood the market and everyone ends up with similar character builds. Right now the drops are extremely challenging which keeps characters different. It also keeps the WOW effect… like OMG ITS A STORM SHEILD. Not ooooo there are a million of those in Diablo already effect…

Why are there many sets, if you never have a chance to complete one in the first place, especially, if you play SP…
By the way, I also never completed a set in Diablo 3… (in comparison to Diablo 2… even with B-Net-Characters. I just got the items spended.) Well, and I more or less ceased playing D3, after reaching level 70 and ending the campaign…, but NOT because, there are too much unique- or set-drops.
What’s cool is you can be farming one thing and get a whole bunch of other stuff on the way. I’ve gotten vex and 2 vmagis while farming keys and built up enough keys and stuff to trade for my first shako today. It’s great, I’m looking forward to mfing tomorrow and maybe doing some ball or cow runs. I’ll probably never see a Jah ber or zod drop in my life but that’s OK.
To be honest I find the drop rate of gear quite high. I would lower it a bit.
So, yesterday I found nopes, nada. And said the drop rates should not be increased.
Today I found two arach’s in the span of an hour.
So, I confirmed myself and keep by my statement.

A zod rune lol. Would be upset if RNG gave me one over some bers. Running hell LK and the HRs are coming thick and fast. Just need a good base for infi.
I just finished Nightmare and on all Noraml and Nightmare I HAD NO EVEN A DROP FOR A RARE AMULET !!! Not saw until now a rare/unique/set amulet drop ! I have an amulet from a friend… Not even to mention other items…
Are you telling me that this is a well balanced game?
