Please fix Color Blind mode

Color Blind in game option do nothing. The modes for red weaknisses shall make red more look like a e.g. light green.

Agree. As a red color weakness, I can say all current colorblind modes make it more difficult for me to recognize the enemies’ health bar than the original. Ironic.

I’m red/green and blue/yellow colorblind, which means that I can’t distinguish mixed colors of these when they’re close to each other. Red dots on a minimap with green background? Bye bye me. Purple or blue next to each other? Which one is which? Red text in a standard black text? This text is blurry then and hurts my eyes.

The issue we colorblind users have is for example

  1. Telling rare / set / unique items from each other.
  2. Seeing health bars when it’s dark red on black.
  3. Telling apart Sapphires and Amethysts, Emeralds and Topaz.
  4. Telling what immunity mobs have on console.

All of the issues can be solved extremely simply, by allowing us to change the colors of certain loot or healthbars. The “Colorblind mode” they implemented in the game is not a colorblind mode. It’s an instagram filter that adjusts the colors to simulate how colorblind people already see.

(note: some text was taken from Reddit, source)

Edit: Man…first 4-5 times nothing showed up and then all of my posts appear. I thought that such delays were ancient problems ^^; double posts deleted

This! This so much!
Although for me its not telling the rares from sets its the rares and uniques that look far too similar. If they are not sitting directly next to eachother i can not tell the two colors apart. and i 100% agree with the enemy health bar part. Especially in extra dark areas like Mephs room.

sadly I requested this even for Diablo 3 few years ago and nothing happened. I do not expect they will do something for D2R.
the level of “do not care” of Blizzard is XD

a tip, maybe help: I am using the Windows 10 color blind modes, not remember exactly which one but you can try to see which one fit your needs. even activated hot-key and when enter D2R i directly activate it and is ok, can see health bars very well.

Thx - this helps with my protanomaly - can finally tell the difference between sapphires and amethysts! Except now rubies look pretty close to diamonds - win some lose some I guess :stuck_out_tongue:
