after 10 min of playing my fps on ultra settings on a 2k monitor goes from 140 to 25ish and stays like that, even if i change everything to low to doesnt goes higher then 30, wtf is going on

I have issues with RTX 3070 and some stuttering, 4K screen, 270 watts card running at 2000MHz… I am investigating which setting it is that does it, because if I set it to “Low” the problem goes away, but I have not yet found the culprit setting (or settings).
i start my game with 140 fps but after 10 min in the same zone fps goes to shit i run cyberpunk on ultra with ray tracing on 60ish fps
Have you checked the temperatures of your GPU and CPU during playing?

65ish temp, but even 83 is semi fine im from israel and its alweys hot here
but maybe there is some settings that would cause downclock CPU or GPU
You mean In game? Or nvidia/Windows settings? I don’t overclock or afterburner or all those staff
i mean out of game.
When it reaches determined values then it begin itself to downclocl for selfprotection.
maybe u aktiveted whisperode ?
maybe there was a temp setting that will cap it.

For the FPS issue:
- If you are running with uncapped FPS try to cap it to 60 to see if the situation gets better
- As mentioned before in this thread ensure there is no overheating
- Try closing all the background apps with a selective startup
- Why would I cap at 60 if it doesn’t reach 60
- I did it and it didn’t help
- Nothin is/was opened but diablo
- My cpu is on about 30% my ram is on 9/16 and gpu rtx 3070 on 98% 65ish temp

I have this kind of problems but with 1660 TI. They addvices are worthless, after all they will suggest you that the only problem is you and your PC. At the moment there is no solution. Only patch.

FPS sags out of the blue with any settings. Only windowed mode with disabled vertical sync helps. As usual, modern developers don’t bother with optimization. The scourge of modern programmers is incompetence. They think: “games can’t keep up with the progress of computer components, so why mess with it.” Idiots …

I completed all 5 acts with a friend week ago and there was no problems what so ever, i didn’t change any settings or anything, was there a patch in the last few days?
Yes, probably all of the problems started after newest patch. It was released 4-5 days ago.
