Barbarian Mace Mastery counts Maul as Mace- but the Runeword ‘Steel’(Tir+El) demanding sword/axe/mace does not recognize Maul as a mace. Pathetic this hasn’t been patched.
If even harder runewords behave the same way, players end up wasting dozens of hours.
Again, PATHETIC this hasn’t been patched by now.
barbarian mace mastery also counts wands and staves, i think if anything it should be called blunt mastery haha
Before flaming, maybe check how runewords work.
Even in the original (non-resurrected) version, Mace class weapons had subclasses too. Maces, hammers or clubs.
Runewords that are to be used in “Maces” are to be used in Mace SUBCLASS of the Mace class.
A Maul is a “hammer” subclass item.
It is an oversight from Blizzard, that the subclass is not displayed, but it works exactly the same way it used to work before Resurrected got introduced. The know-how is available online, only a google search away.
