Quite a few times now (and always with my Fury Druid it seems) I have been getting poisoned and it never clears of its own accord. It would basically stay on me until I die if I let it. I tested this, and used up a whole belt of Full Rejuv potions and I was still poisoned, and still losing my life quickly after several minutes. The only way to get rid of it when it happens is to go back to town and talk to the person who normally restores your health and mana.
Am I missing something here? My poison resist is capped.
Who is the source of poison? Some monsters use very long poison. E.g. blue spiders. It lasts few minutes, I guess. You need no rejuvs to test it - poison never kills. Just move your character to safe place and go make a cup of tea.
Depends on the poison source. In most cases it falls off in a short amount of time. In some cases it lingers for a long time, like the zombies in Durance or the revenants in Baal’s throne room, wave two. Resist doesn’t stop you from being poisoned. It reduces the damage the poison does to you.
Bring some antidote potion or get “poison length reduced”.
Thougth the latter is not really worth it.
Some poison run carzy long but it have been always this way.
This has only starting happening recently and is now happening quite often (once or twice per hour). At the same time, I have started playing a melee char for the first time ever, so I guess it’s because of that? Never had this happen with my various casters.
Anyways on hearing poison won’t actually kill me, I decided to actually time it next time it happened. After 15 minutes I got bored and I was still poisoned and gave up the experiment. Are they really meant to last that long??
