I wanna start with saying that I’m not the kind of person who whines and cries about games not throwing GG loot at me, but I’ve found out that there HAS to be something messed up with the hell drops in this game atm. I’ve been running COUNTLESS Ancient Tunnels, and I’ve been running COUNTLESS Mephisto runs and the list goes on.
I’ve loved this game since I was a kid, and I enjoy the farm, the grind and that feeling of “yes!” when you finally see that drop, but when you farm for days on end and you see the same USELESS normal quality drop over and over and over, it just get tedious. I’ve gotten so so many Battlebranches that I wanna puke whenever I see it drop. I’m so tired of crossing my fingers when ever a set amu drops, hoping for a Tals, just to see another Cathans.
The rarest thing I’ve found in my Wisp Projector, which sadly is neither usefull or sought after, so…
I’m running close to 400% MF blizz sorc, online, solo, I’ve no problem with clear speeds. I must be doing something wrong, right? It feels like slap in the face when people with ~100% MF find shako after shako, also solo online.
Please share your thoughts on this. I can’t really accept it me being THIS unlucky.
I’ve done over 200-300 Mephisto runs with 1 item that is worth anything. Everything else is crap, junk and a waste of time. I’ve been running cows and pindle as well as Travs… The drops since update have been reduced at such a % that this game is becoming to lose my interest!
That on top of it all, the server down at all times? Losing items through ROLL BACKS, after endless days of grinding. Like seriously please take and help us out here.
You are free to think so, but for me its the same old song that you here in any rng based game ever played. There are always a handfull people wo doesn’t get what they want and its always the games fault and clearly something must be broken.
same boat, over 350mf level 90 hammerdin, ran pits, arcane, duriel, jungle, travi, river/sanc, wsk, eld, shenk, nothing dropped worth of value, half a dozen charms on flawless gems, highest rune a Ral, best sc 1-2 fire damage, day before iran for 6 hours of sanc/cows, occasional pit, nothing.
it’s the same game so hopefully runbot will be worked to farm, and spam bots too, cannot wait
I think just everyone forgot about how time consuming and grind based this game is. Drops for good items are not so frequent. FE.: the chance with 500 mf to drop a mara from mephi is 1:3457. That’s not so high, eh? I feel the same just like in old d2. There are lucky days, and there are bad ones.
I can only agree, something went wrong with the RnG algorythm, I get the same or very similar items, and they are all Normal low level items set or uniques. This has changed over the past few days when we had server down fiesta. Blizzard you need to seriously revise your RnG algorthm it is not right. You did hit the bottom, it cant get any worse than what you did, so fix it at least, b/c over the last few days your credibility was flushed down the toilet as a company.
im on the same page as you guys, but im pretty sure its someone with the amout of MF you have. I personally found that i got better drops with my mf howerung around 290 to 310. now at 440 i dont find shit. Maybe its like a dry spell but i also encountered something is wrong with the key drops. I am constantly running the same dudes, countess, summoner, meppel and pindel , i must be close to 200 runs and the countess dropped me 11 key so far, while the summoner dropped 2 in the beginning and then no more since like 4 days. in the last 4 days i did round about 80 runs. And 0 keys out of 80 runs at the summoner at against all odds even because i am experiencing this issue over several days. i dont know man, something feels off. My guys who played d2 LOD with me back in the time also say that something isent right with the drops.
I keep getting rare items that are basically useless but still rare. And I dont get them once or twice per day, I just get them like 3 times in a row in 3 games. For example I got IK weapon 2 times in the same game. Mavina Armor 3 times in 3 games at Mephisto and for some uniques its the same. I guess its still random but considering how many items there are its still weird to see.
On the other hand I have ppl in my group finding Harle 3 times in one evening.
I play solo online (lvl 89 sorc), my mf is now a bit over 400% but at first it was obv low. I do full mf runs in one game as I can clear any areas. I’ve played D2 several times and it feels the same it has always been.
