Still no controller deadzone configuration

why is there no option to change the deadzone? the default is WAY to sensitive.
to make things worse it seems any edits i made using DS4 Windows have no effect on this game, which would be the first game to ever be this aggressive when it comes to controller configs…

i don’t suppose there is a config file where i could change this?
so sick of games that dont let u edit this which is still most sadly. thankfully games like death stranding does have this option and every steam game can be configured with its inbuild controller options to fix issues like this, but blizzard is far behind on this simple technology

It’s good that you created this topic, I also often thought about the lack of gamepad settings in d2r, but I forgot that Steam allows you to run third-party games, and therefore allows you to use its gamepad settings.
You need to add D2R.exe from the root folder of the game to the Steam library.
What I missed was the ability to assign the D-pad buttons to the right stick in order to use potions and at the same time not lose control over the movement of the character, I set the weapon change to the Share button, I have an xbox gamepad, now the control is super convenient.

does adding d2r.exe allows steam to take control over the controller config? if so nice find! hope it works for ps4 controller

Yes, I checked as soon as I read your topic, add the game to steam and run it from there, everything works the same as with games bought from steam. There is a nuance, after each reboot of the PC, the first time you need to run d2r through bnet for authorization to take place, then close the game and start it through Steam.
