I have the same problem stuck on 2.3.1patch.I can’t install patch 2.4 at all, because it doesn’t exist …
Can you start the game and play online ?
im able to play both versions on and off line without any issues so far
You must have received the latest patch 2.4, otherwise you can’t play online on Battle.net.
The 2.4 patch bring the game to version 1.2.68992
The previous version was 1.1.6xxx

I was confused as well. Ideally, Blizzard should be more clear with communications and have a direct link with what we, as players, see in the game/app.
