I was playing D2r on hardcore mode, then servers got mad and I got disconnected. Now I keep having that error message saying my character is already in game, whenever i try to make/join game.
I tried to make a new hardcore toon, only to have blackscreens when I wanna join/make games.
I then tried to make a Softcore character, and it worked on first attempt to make a game. I think it should be useful for you to know that, so you can fix

Problem seems to be at HC only.
Tested a SC Char and have no Problems
for 10 hours I have a problem with entering / creating a game on HC. Sc works fine. a lot of people who played 10 hours ago have the same problem, only those who were not online at that time can play.
Same issue here… HC doesn’t work… SC is fine…
My freind was offline all night and he can play now w/o problems
this is F***d up… paying for entertainment and all you have is disappointment and anger …

or me the opposite - HC does not work, SC works…
but all my friends are playing HC and I’m just losing my nerves …
