Until they don’t implemenr some fixes, try to use discord or add People to your friend list so you will be able to See who is online and then join to them.
But this is annoying solution and its urgent to fix it.

Finally back from holiday and starting a new char in classic. I think I’ll play a summoner despite the lower amount of available +skills

Come on guys, remove whatever game filter you have just for classic.
This needs to happen for classic to become alive.
You have about 1,000+ classic vets that only want to play classic but simply can’t.
