why do we farm hours and hours for a perfect equipped char if we dont have content to use it for?!
the new patch 2.4 is great so far but long overdue!!!
Blizzard need to patch all good things from ProjectDiablo2 in the game it shouldnt be a problem or a big deal for them! especially we need endgame content like the chaos gates in PD2!

As for D2R new content will probably come sooner or later, but it would be nice if it fits the feeling of the game and isnt just a copy+paste from any random MMORPG. So if the game developers involved here take their time to make sure it feels like D2, it is imo better than overacting something because a few people want D2 to be like D3

Yep, and a pvp arena for low level duelling with ranked systems and a high level duel arena. Also this way hardcore players could duel.
Except every poll shows the vast majority above 90% wants changes and endgame. Its only you purists who want no changes, and you just repeat whatever youre told anyways.

Age of empires allready got +4/5 expansions and they got balance changes from FIRST LAUNCH. Not 7 months after. But their community isnt filled with botters, soulless purists, criminals, and JSPERS. Theyve got a community which actually likes the game and wants to improve it.

Changes and new stuff is potentially cool, and noone wants to block improvements. But what is quite clear is that improvements mean different things to people. Turning D2 into a D3 clone just isnt an “improvement” to quite some people. Adding new content with necessary caution and thought invest is something probably 99% of the people will enjoy.
I personally just doubt that throwing in the same stuff which is done in 1000s of random mmorpgs already would result in a better D2R game.
So instead of accusing people that look at those “improvement” suggestions with criticism and try to keep the opposite aware of, that not everything which was done to different mmos in the past years was good and really improved the games, maybe ask yourself if it wouldnt be fair to give the devs a bit of time to add some really valuable and unique new content here that really improves the game experience and leaves D2R at its unique spot it has (and yes it has it) instead of rushing actions to please the ever-unhappy crowd

This game doesn’t need any endgame. It didn’t for decades. It has its “endgame”: PVP, where any small amount of res, HP or whatever can be the one advantage.
Then run off back to d2lod: and enjoy your hammerdin. Problem solve. Let the 90% enjoy endgame and more improvements.
Actually, there’s no “end game” some people cry for because they expect more and more drops from new zones they think that drop at too low rates.
I’ll not give up fighting against repeating the worst fail of D3 in D2R!

actually I kinda like the drop rate as it is. And still today with the knowledge and help that people provide to eachother the low droprate is not that annoying.
Well the drop rate in Player 1 is somewhat meh thats for sure, a little bit better on some items would be ok I think.
Thats definately what would happen, they have to be D2 as it is … go play mod diablos if you want stupid changes in the content.

Funny thing is they all hate mods and talk smack about them but at the same time they praise the 2.4 patch where 90% of it is 1:1 copy from PD2 balancing, lmao.
